What I have just done is unbelievable. I never knew I had it, I never wanted to have it and if it comes in handy it could get me into some deep trouble. I could end up being a billionaire or I could just use it on the little things like getting coffee or some pizza.
But it's way worse. I can hypnotise people to do whatever I want. That explains how I 'persuaded' the guy at the car sale to give me the Volvo. The very Volvo that I'm driving RIGHT NOW!
This is insane!
I'm only 19 and I already have superpowers! Already! Pssh! As if people wait until they have superpowers! If only...
If I ever get caught by the police I am doomed. Done. Dead. Arrested. But maybe my powers can come in handy. Maybe I could charm the police to take me out of jail! This is absolutely awesome!

I park my car out of Johnie's, my favourite diner so that I can get some fries and a coke. I'm parched. I go and sit at the table that I always sit at. The one closest to the kitchen so that I can see what is really going on behind there. Johnie, the owner comes and takes my order and while I'm waiting I close my eyes. I am so tired of all of this. Charming somebody drained my energy. Kind of like the main character Eleven in my favourite series, Stranger Things. She has super powers. Every time she uses them she gets drained of energy.
That's exactly what I feel like right now.
All of a sudden my cheek hurts. Somebody just slapped me! And here it is again!

I open my eyes to see.
My sister Harriet is standing over me and I am laying in bed. My hair is a mess and I'm sweating.
