"So I see you two are a little... Tied up, at the moment!" One of Tanner's Gaurds, Wendolyn howls with laughter. One of my gaurds, Gareth, scowls, boxing his shoulder borderline playfully. I keep an eye on them, afraid a fight might break out. Luckily, Wendolyn seems pretty laid back and unlikely to engage in a fight unless completely necisary.
"Shut up." Tanner grumbles, which only makes the gaurds laugh even lowder. The purple ribbon that ties Tanner and I together glows in the Shry's light. The artifical moon of the Hylyns.
"come on, Tanner. Cheer up. You're married! Bound for life!" Gareth gafaws and Tanner huffs, pulling himself and by proxy me up off our stools and down the stairs of the altar.
"Tanner where are we going?" I ask, and he just grunts.
"I'm not entirely sure, doll face."
"Don't call me that."
"Why?"
"It's... disrespectful." He tugs me forward and I trip into him. He chuckles.
"Okay. How about Honey?" He prods, and I shake my head, disgusted.
"Too plain."
"Duely noted, angel eyes." He smirks, brushing a little hair out of my face. "Oh. So no objection to that one?"
"Of course I have an objection to it. It's too intimate."
"Then it's perfect. We're married aren't we?"
"Ya, but-"
"Everything before but is bullshit, angel eyes."
"Fine. Whatever. Forget it." I take a look around. We're standing at the edge of a secluded small pond in the middle of nowhere with a small waterfall on the opposite side of where we stand. "How did you know this was here?" He shrugs.
"I didn't. I was just going towards the sound of water. I heard it on the way here. After that long ceremony I got a bit thirsty, and seeing as we're kind of tied together, I couldn't go without you. Sorry about that."
"This is going to get a bit awkward when one of us has to go to the bathroom, won't it?"
"Not as long as you don't make it awkward." He shurgs, tugging me towards the pond. I smile a little when the cold water hits my toes. I wiggle them in the clear blue water and Tanner tugs me forward violently.
"TANNER!" I screech as I plunge forward into the freezing pond. Unfortunately for Tanner, and by proxy me, he had completely forgotten that we're kind of tied together, and he goes and falls on me. Hard.
"Shit. I'm so sorry, Charlotte."
