So, this is the story of my flunked audition:
It was the day of the audition, and I was not nervous. at all. I had chosen a song to sing, and had written down the lyrics. (It was a musical, and the audition requirements were to sing 30 secs of a song) These were the five things I noticed right away:
- Everyone was singing way more than 30 seconds, probably more like 45 seconds
-I am actually a trash singer compared to the average 6-8 grader
-My song was not from a broadway show, as it was supposed to be
-My song was super repetitive
-I was soooo not going to get a part
well, I was 11th to audition, and my friend went before me. He went up on stage, started singing, and then stopped, and said "oh sorry I forgot the words" and pulled out the lyrics to the song (that I had wrote down and given to him, of course, because I am me) he sung, and he was Ok. his falsetto didint work though, so I was like, Ok, we can not get a part together. I didint tell him that though, obviously.
then i went. I did ok, I think. I didint mess up.191Please respect copyright.PENANAP1NG0Djtmd
