Days just pass: dawn till morning, dusk till night.
Trick or treat? Do they ever ask?
She's standing in the hallway, tears glistening in her eyes.
She wanted to scream, but, shut her mouth so tight.
Surrounded by ambiguities, queries undefined,
She yearned for a swim but drowned, intertwined.
Silence hung heavy; she fell on her knees.
Moonlight wove a tapestry, amazingly evergreen.
He ran through the hallway to grab her,
Forgetting how he lost his grasp on her.
He begged her to speak, to scream, to weep.
She was all innocent yet started doing all three.
He hugged her so tight; she wanted to let go.
If letting go were a choice, she would've said no.
But it was a need.
How to discard oneself, though?
Is this behaviour?
A disregard, after all?
He offered her an apology, as if it were just a word,
Ignoring all the suffering she'd endured.
Tears fell from her eyes as a gushing river flows.
Am I the one who suffers and cries the most?
That's not fair; suffering's my share.
Darkness surrounded her; mist filled the air.
They plunged a spearA mine shaft, an oil wellInto the earthBut it's their greedTheir power, their hard heartsThat will face extinctionLove will have rebirth

[Verse]
A man is the head of the home
The king sitting on his throne
A woman must do what he says
Be silent and hold down the tears
They will not make me henpecked
I shall make them show respect
[Pre-Chorus]
She must always say 'yes' or 'no'
Forget any things she used to do
No one cares about what she loves
The girl has no right to be a rebel
I am the only one to choose her life
If she should work or be a housewife
[Chorus]
Men rule this world
Women obey our word
I will never be under their control
I’d rather let the devil buy my soul
Father, husband, uncle, brother
They have always been leaders
Women cannot make decisions
Their mission is to raise children
To please men, to be obedient
And to thank them for brilliants
[Verse 2]
A man must show all his power
His voice must always be loud
A girl grows up under pressure
She obeys orders like a soldier
I was not born to be a milksop
They will not make me a mop
[Pre-Chorus]
She must always say 'yes' or 'no'
Forget any things she used to do
No one cares about what she loves
The girl has no right to be a rebel
I am the only one to choose her life
If she should work or be a housewife
[Chorus]
Men rule this world
Women obey our word
I will never be under their control
I’d rather let the devil buy my soul
Father, husband, uncle, brother
They have always been leaders
Women cannot make decisions
Their mission is to raise children
To please men, to be obedient
And to thank them for brilliants
[Bridge]
My father should’ve tamed my mother
He should’ve tamed my little brother
But she suppressed the man’s power
That woman acted like a real monster
I swear I won’t let my lady do it to me
She will not put me down on my knees
[Pre-Chorus]
They will not make me a servant
They will never turn me to dust
I am the only one to be the general
I don’t care if they call me the devil
Because…
Men rule this world
[Chorus]
Men rule this world
Women obey our word
I will never be under their control
I’d rather let the devil buy my soul
Father, husband, uncle, brother
They have always been leaders
Women cannot make decisions
Their mission is to raise children
To please men, to be obedient
And to thank them for brilliants
[Outro]
A man is the head of the home
The king sitting on his throne
A man must show all his power
His voice must always be loud
Eloquent Masquerade
They don masks of porcelain smiles,
layered thick upon flesh too pure,
a glossed veneer to shield decay.
Hypocrisy seeps from grinning maws,
slipping like venom through ivory fissures.
Cities swell, sprawling like tumors,
devouring the earth's tender breath.
Society grinds, a ceaseless wheel,
spinning on shards of fractured intent,
choices severed from spirit,
bound to the gods of gold and glimmer.
Appearance reigns,
currency calls,
and humanity fades,
a silhouette
of what once thrived.
Aromatic Flame
Her form, delicate yet profound,
exuding a heady allure.
She captivates with vivid hues
and a touch that lingers.
A spark ignites restless thoughts,
driving musings, dialogue, and creation.
Our exchanges, mere glimpses
of a pursuit for freedom,
a reach for individuality.
Yet, her embrace holds me longer,
a magnet to my time and mind.
In her presence,
I draw her essence deep
until the air grows heavy with her spirit.
