Shay walked home from school thinking about her lunch. It was horrible. school lunch usually was. But that's besides the point. The point was, The lunch lady, Miss Karen, had given all the boys six Chicken tenders and all the girls three. In Shay's opinion, that was completely unfair and should have been addressed Immediately. In fact, The Aretha Franklin school of advanced humanities, Maths, Science, and other scholarly endeavors should have been left in th 1980’s. Everything about Shay’s school was far, far too sexist, from the school uniform for girls that consisted of an Unwrinkled shirt, a tie that choked the girls, and a skirt that was about 3 inches too short to be deemed appropriate for any middle schooler, to the penalty for dress code violation: three days of suspension, that happened to only apply to girls. Shay was not the type of girl to let things like that slide. Unfortunately, her petition was found and shredded by the headmaster. Then she was suspended. Her parents were quite unhappy. Shay sighed. Her parents. They were the reason she dreaded coming home. Every word that came out of her mouth was interpreted as a blossoming talent, and then her parents signed her up for a class or course on that subject. Of course, Shay only went to half of them. This week she had been roped into Chess, badminton, soccer, acrylic paint, japanese language lessons, and Knitting. Shay dug her key out of her bag and unlocked the door. Her mom sat at the table, looking at shay’s report card with a deep frown. Shay took a deep breath and prepared herself for a long lecture.586Please respect copyright.PENANAGrJtSsr7X5
