I have just, 15 days into the year, found out what my resolution for 2017 will be.583Please respect copyright.PENANAZHAcpmdKVy

Past years my resolutions were quite simple, obtainable, for example learn to drink wine, loose weight, get a piercing, travel more, etc. I fulfilled all my resolutions, except that I didn't loose much weight - though that is hardly a surprise. I used to set my resolutions based on what I had been wanting for a while up until the new year arrived. Things I was scared or hesitant for, but secretly desired, like getting a piercing. Other results came forth from my environment, like drinking wine. The family that I looked up to drank and enjoyed wine, and more importantly so did my friends - because I, as an uncertain and at that point still very naive girl, was indeed very much influenced by peer pressure.583Please respect copyright.PENANApFY1F6yO0j
Another base for one of my resolutions, to travel more, is to be found within myself. The first time travelling without supervision, just a friend and I, had been wonderful and had inspired me to want to learn more about the world. I understood it was a place too big to know everything about, and impressed as I was, and still am, I found I couldn't fantom not wanting to at least try to find put more about it. The idea kept swirling in my mind, and a year later my resolution to travel more was set.
My resolution for 2017 came much the same way to me. A realisation that has been growing very slowly has finally budded a short while ago.
I have not been the most happy person in a long while to say the least, but tonight I realised that there's one thing blatantly missing in my life. A something that I believe will be first step in the right direction to have the possibility to feel, even if only a little, happy again.
My resolution for 2017 is to find a goal in life. Well, that and get a tattoo ...
