COLLIN
“HELLO NINERS! Did you miss me?” Collin brushed his hair back and smirked at the camera. He could mentally hear the shrieking of fans of all ages and gender. He was shirtless so it probably added to the flooding comments on his live stream.
“I am so sorry I couldn’t stream Overwatch last night.” He moved the camera and showed the glass windows that showed the pool. His team members in Nineteen, a male performance group, were in the pool horsing around. He panned the camera back, “As you can see, we are on our break. But I missed you all so I couldn’t help but drop by.”
Heart emoticons flooded the comment section which was exactly what he was waiting for. That T-Live hasn’t been on longer than two minutes but his notification squad had already arrived. There were over one million people watching that stream. Slow day for a group that had millions of fans worldwide but it was a guerrilla live stream so it couldn’t be helped. He was only planning to have a short stream to keep them begging for more.
“Wait, let me wear a shirt before this live gets flagged.” He laughed when he saw the onslaught of complaints. “Fine, fine. I will just put a towel on to be safe.” He covered up with his team’s banner towel. As if on cue, the ‘I WANT THAT!’ comments came in. “Oh, this old thing? I think we don’t have a lot of stock of these towels left. Y’all could just check out the merch shop in the main account. I think we sell it on this platform too. Check it out later.” He winked to tease them some more. 538Please respect copyright.PENANAY7qlGhNtKR

Lucas, his manager, who was sitting in front of him, obviously to monitor what he was saying to fans, shook his head. Collin is known as the PPL Monster in their team. He knew how to get the attention of fans in order for them to want things that he is secretly promoting. He uses his influencer power to make as much money as he could. Merchandise sales were higher than music stream royalties in his case since he had only a few songs under his belt. But sponsorships are lucrative for boy band members and streamers. He was both. He made sure to get products and services that fans could afford and made sure order volume made up for commission per item.
He was reading out comments of people sending roses and random Gif gifts when the door of the living room opened. A woman in a neon pink bikini walked in and was surprised when she saw Collin and Lucas there. “Sorry, Collin! Hi, Niners!” She ran out towards the direction of the pool and Nineteen’s manager jumped up from his seat.
Collin froze for a couple of seconds then regrouped, “That was my friend Liz. Y’all know her from the Nineteen showcase parties right?” He tried to get fans to calm down. Raging fans asked why there was a girl at Nineteen’s pool party when it was supposed to be a sausage party.
Collin’s manager mouthed the words Turn it off! Now! “I should get back to the party, Niners! I will go live again soon and try to drag those guys into a live stream. Maybe a mukbang stream for dinner next time. I promise!” He waved and then turned his live off.
He made a beeline toward Liz. “Who let you in here?” She was not a friend, nor was she welcome at their party. Liz was a producer’s daughter who tried to ingratiate herself into Nineteen members’ lives. Her main target was him, Collin Sanchez.
“My dad told me you guys were hanging out together.” She was on her phone, pretending to take pictures. Collin grabbed her phone to confirm the truth. The ingrate was live streaming on her social media account.
He turned her live off and threw her phone into the pool. “Get up and get out.”
“What the hell, Collin? That’s the latest model!” She was about to go into the pool to get it but Silver, Nineteen’s main singer already had the phone in his hand.
“Still works.” Silver gave the phone to Liz and patted her shoulder. “I think it’s better if you go for now. He’s not in the mood today.”
“He is never in the mood,” Liz grumbled but took her towel and wrapped it around her waist. “If I wasn’t so into you guys, I would think you didn’t want me around.”
“You think?” Kirk, rapper and resident no-filter member of Nineteen chimed in. “It’s about time you realized we don’t want you here. Do you see any dames here? You’re crashing our sausage party, babe.”
“Let’s not lose our heads, everyone,” the youngest and sweetest Jazz tried to mediate. “Liz, hon, we will call you up when we can hang. You should dry up and go home.”
“I will count to five. If you aren’t gone when I am done counting I will call your father myself and tell him you are stalking Collin again.” Izrail, the leader of Nineteen, showed Liz his phone screen. Her dad’s contact info was on the screen.
“Fine! I’m going!” Liz walked into the house. Nineteen’s manager escorted her out and all the members breathed easily when she did so without making an even bigger fuss.
“That girl is giving me anxiety for reals.” Jazz went into the water and blew some bubbles out.
“I told you to let me talk to her already,” Izrail suggested which made all of them, except the underwater Jazz, shout a resounding negation.
“We can’t have another Kirk incident in our hands,” Collin said.
“What I do?” As expected of Mr. Insensitive Kirk Matias, he already forgot.
“You ran your mouth off and a fangirl cried in front of other fans.” Jazz remembered it all.
“She deserved it. She tried to kiss me in public, bro! Boundaries!” Kirk might have the image of a bad boy but he was very shy around other people. He only did skinship with extremely close friends which were basically Nineteen and a handful of other guys. No women in that circle.
Collin shook his head, “I will talk to her. It’s about time I tell her that there isn’t a single drop of romantic interest coming from me.”
“Or we could write a song about her,” Everyone else rolled their eyes at Izrail.
“Not everything needs to become a song, bro.” Silver threw the beach ball at Izrail’s head.
The chaos that ensued made the Nineteen manager laugh. “These guys are nearing thirty but still haven’t grown up. Not even a little bit.”
Who knew that the quiet days would not last?
