Tord sighed when he saw Matt in the kitchen. Tord slowly walked up to the taller male and prepared to ‘apologize’ "Where have you been..?”
Matt said with a rather serious look on his face as he stood there in the kitchen with both his arms crossed… as he definitely wasn’t happy about how Tord had been acting these days… as the look on his face definitely stated this already… as he was just as pissed off about what Tord had just done as Tom was….“I’ve got other friends y’know…” Tord said meekly. “But that- that’s not important Matt-“ Tord was cut off by Matt himself “If you even want a shot at forgiveness you’re going to call me ‘Matty’ the entire week” Matt said looking down at the Norwegian infront of him. “Ugh… fine…”
Tord said with a heavy sigh as he then looked back up at Matt with a more annoyed look on his face again… as he definitely didn’t seem to like being called Matty at all.. or doing anything for that matter….*
“So what now..?”
Tord asked Matt with a slight shrug of his shoulders as he still looked up at Matt just as annoyed as before…. As he really didn’t seem to be very happy with what he was being told to do now… as if he was being commanded….
Tord figured he should continue his apology….”I—I’m sorry for how I’ve been to all of you recently. Things have been on my mind and I’ve been busy. I shouldn’t have said that crap to Edd yesterday. M-…Matty I’m sorry” Tord said…I already hate the matty thing. Tord thought to himself as he awaited Matt’s response. There was a few seconds of silence as Matt just stood there for a moment looking down at Tord…..as Matt definitely seemed to be a bit surprised by Tords suddenly apology… as his serious expression slowly faded to a confused one… and as his arms slowly uncrossed… and as he slightly moved his head to look at Tord with a confused look on his face for a moment….
“Is this a joke…?….”
Matt then says as he asked this question in a very confused and almost condescending tone… as this whole thing almost seemed too good to be true to him…. Tord gave Matt a genuinely confused look. “W-what” Tord said confused. Matt realized he said that out loud and waved his hand dismissively and gave a real response to Tords apology. “Just saying… you don’t just apologize and make everything better just like that….”
Matt said with a sarcastic tone in his voice as he slowly raised his eyebrow and folded his arms again with a smug and mocking look on his face as Matt just seemed to be a bit skeptical now in general… as if he was skeptical that this little apology of Tords was enough to just simply make everything all better again… as he just seemed to believe there was no way this little apology from Tords was enough to make everything all better and just fix everything now….
“I know…I’ve gotta talk to Edd. I’ll let you think about it…erm…Matty” Tord said, turning on his heel and walking back up the stairs. “Yeah yeah whatever….”
Matt said with a roll of his eyes as he watched Tord walk away from him and up out of sight… as he then took a deep breath and just let it out in a sigh… as he still seemed kind of skeptical of what Tords sudden apology and his attitude change was… as he definitely needed to think this all over for a bit… as he definitely wasn’t sure if there wasn’t something else going on with Tord that he wasn’t telling them about right now. Tord was mentally panicking as he walked up the stairs. Was the apology not good enough. He didn’t even believe it. I wasn’t technically lying. I’m trying. I thought it was a good start. Tord thought as he reached the top of the staircase. I have the worst feeling that I’m gonna need Plan C. Tord thought to himself as his cheeks tinted slightly at the thought of Plan C. Tord shrugged it off when he reached Edds door. The second Tord opened the door to Edd’s room that familiar feeling of depression started to fill Edd’s head again immediately…as the familiar feeling of being alone again started to fill his head… with the feeling of being alone and the fact that he was just a burden to Tord…. All these memories started flashing through his mind… as they almost started to make him cry again….as this all seemed to be too much for him all at once… as this was too much for him to handle… and so he just started to cry again….. Tord was about to say something but once he realized Edd was crying he immediately saw a golden ticket to getting everything back to “normal”. Tord walked closer to Edd and sat on his bed a fair distance away from him. “Edd….I’m really sorry. I’ve been busy lately, stressed, and angry…I didn’t mean what I said to you. I-I know you guys care about me…alot and I regret what I said yesterday.” Tord paused in his apology slightly to wait for Edds reaction to it. “….You mean that…?”
Edd said with a soft and quiet voice while looking right up at him and tears slowly rolled down his cheeks…. As he still looked a bit sad now… as he wasn’t entirely convinced by Tords sudden apology now… as the past couple days had him feeling especially down… and so he just wanted to get some sort of reassurance from Tord here… just to make sure…. As for now he just needed some sort of reassurance that Tord really did mean what he had just said…. “Y-yes Edd I mean it. I’m really sorry and I know this isn’t enough to fix it all. I’ve been blowing you guys off for months.” Tord said with no hesitation. On the outside Tord looked apologetic and regretful on the inside all his mind was doing was drawing a plan for the quickest escape. Tord pushed that thought away but it never left. “….it’s….okay….I forgive you….”
Edd said with a soft and quiet voice as more of his tears continued to slowly roll down his cheeks while he hugged his knees close to his chest as he continued to look at Tord… as now he seemed to have started believing Tords sudden apology more.. as Edds trust in Tord seemed to slowly be returning.. as maybe Tords sudden apology really was the truth and was genuine….YES! keep going cmon! Tords inner monologue screamed. Tord made eye contact with Edd “A-are you sure. Edd, It’s okay if you don’t yet.
