I open the door and see Ryuu on the verge of tears and Satoru just staring at me like he'd seen a ghost. I get the signal and drop my weight into Ryuu, giving him a hug. I cry. Into his jacket he always wore. Still smells like campfire from the last time we hung out. That's when I got the text about Kiyoko. I start sobbing uncontrollably and Ryuu just holds me. It may not seem like a lot, but it is. Satoru rubs my back and tells me something like "You're coming to our place to get cleaned up." I was too focused on Ryuu and Kiyoko to pay attention. Ryuu caries me on his back, Satoru takes care of the snacks and locking my door, then quickly catches up to us. They just saved me. They don't even know.
