Hi! My name is Kelsie, but I go by Kels. Anyways, here's my story......680Please respect copyright.PENANAaMAneQAZIQ
CHAPTER ONE
So, it all starts with me walking down the alley. I live in New York City, so there are a lot of alleys. I wasn't afraid of the alleys, but this one was particularly dark, and let's just say that I'm not a fan of the dark. It was dimly lit, with only a few flickering street lights for light. It was raining, and almost night. I wasn't allowed out past dark, my parents were really strict about that, just like most New York parents are. 680Please respect copyright.PENANA5CbF4QL3nn
I would have avoided the alley, but it's the only way to get to my house, well, not the only way, but the only way that doesn't involve getting mugged, kidnapped, and raped. So, I mustered up my courage and started down the alley.
To get to my house, I had to go to the end of the alley, and then climb the tall wall, get past the dumpster behind the alley, and go down Pine street until I got to my apartment. At least, that's what I told my friends. 680Please respect copyright.PENANAbwYIsNTX7b
In truth, I was homeless. An orphan, all alone. Well, I don't like to think of myself as homeless, more as a person that lives on the street. Well, that doesn't sound too good either, but my life really isn't that good. It mainly consists of me trying to sneak into school, restaurants, and other places. Yes, I go to school. At least, I try to. Some days, it's just impossible to get in.
So, I climbed the wall, slammed into the dumpster, and found a partially wet, concealed place to sleep for the night. I was used to sleeping in uncomfortable places, used to the cold, used to the stares, if they even noticed me. But for some strange reason, tonight was different. I felt as if the cold were knives, stabbing into my skin, as if the very air that I breathed was ice cold, frozen to the touch. After about an hour of cold, uncomfortable silence, I finally fell asleep.680Please respect copyright.PENANAB7XbjMlnGY
