She was once an excellent detective who took her work seriously. She knew how to speak to witnesses and kept them calm as she interrogated them. Her inability to hear voices in her visions made her well adept in body language, but now she's somewhat bitter, holding a grudge against the peacekeepers.
Background:
Born to a rich Irishman and his wife in the county of Armagh on February 22nd, 1996, she had a good childhood despite her parents being ex-scientists of Amaterasu Corporation. They were hired for their research into psychic phenomena, and multiple dimensions. When they heard of Amaterasu's plans for Homunculi research, they immediately resigned and used the money they earned to fund their own humane research into what they had been studying their whole lives. When the Homunculi research began, they threatened to blow the whistle, and potentially pull the plug on the entire operation. This resulted in their deaths at the hands of the Peacekeepers. It was Aurora that found their bodies after she had a vision of the gunshots. Her abilities began surfacing at the age of 11. She looked at a vanity one morning and saw the family dog get hit by a truck before it happened. Her parents decided she should see a therapist when she told them what she saw in the mirror. The therapist was studying psychics on the side, and when her tests concluded there was no sign of mental illness, she explained that Aurora might be a clairvoyant. As she grew, visions got more frequent and harder to control. One day at 16, she ran to the therapist in hysterics after her mirror showed a man's death. He was found dead the next day. Believing her "gift" was a curse, she begged her to help rid her of it. The therapist instead, chose to teach her as a Celt who had knowledge of divination. She trained with her for two years until she got an invitation from the World Detective Organization. Aurora, having seen many deaths, wanted to stop them before they occured, or at least help put criminals behind bars. So she accepted and trained further with them, passing the final test and earning her detective deed at 20. She had only been working as a master detective for a year when her parents were killed, having worked with Yakou Furio multiple times, thus he became a mentor to her. The WDO refused to help her, not wanting to get involved with the peacekeepers, so she was forced to solve their murder herself. While the peacekeepers faced no repurcussions for their crime, she at least knew she was right. Since then she's retired from the WDO and continues her parents' research in secret, focusing on mirrors as a conduit for spirits and doors into other worlds.
