I just finished the very last of my "midterms" and I say midterms because at this point in the semester, it's not midterms, it's like 3/4 term tests since the semester is 80% done at this point. Sooo I haven't been writing, pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard. But in those tiny free moments where I'm either procrastinating or staying up way later than I should be, I'm still actively working on my WIPs. For example, the other day I started this MASSIVE timeline for AE starting all the way back in the 1500s! This contains key events of each of the main character's families all the way to the present, or I guess 1970/1971 when the story actually takes place. Looking back, this is definitely something I should have done beforehand. I had no idea what I was going into, like I said many times before, and sometimes the excitement to just start writing is way too strong, and I didn't really feel like meticulously planning then. Well, it's the opposite now. Now that I am way more immersed with the story and these characters, and don't really have motivation to go forward with the plot, I have time to work out all the tiny details and make things actually make sense. I'm just dreading the rewrites and editing, but of course, that's much later down the line.
But I'm still plagued with my dilemma from the last post. Idk, I didn't really get the feedback I was hoping for, but I understand. It's a very loaded question. So, I've had some time to think about it on my own and ask some people in my personal life, and I think I'm going to end Arison Exception publically at chapter 15. That will be the last chapter available to the public, for now, until the completed, polished, hopefully amazing full version is up. I still feel really sad about not finishing it, but an upside is that Cerebres State will have the entire thing published, and I'm planning on having that series be even longer than AE, with multiple books! Since CS is pretty much heavily inspired by someone else, I would never want to profit off of it and don't really desire to, so I will always continue to update it whenever I can.
Venison's Dossier will also remain posted on this website, although I haven't updated it in in a veryyyyyy long time. Like I said, I haven't felt that creative spark or motivation in a while, as I'm being an academic weapon!!!
And I don't want to brag, but it think it's paying off. I really feel like second year is going well, at least better than first year. I'm not a super genius kid, but I'm at least understanding most of the material. Something I want to do with this blog is go even deeper into my writing process and my characters, how I came up with them and kind of more in-depth stuff that may not be fully entailed in the story itself. Idk, that may be another blog altogether, but if that sounds interesting to anyone, pls let me know!! At the end of the day, It's up to me to decide what I want to talk about on here, but it's nice to have some feedback from other users always. I know I will definitely be a more active reader on here once I finish my semester. I have a ton of interesting stories on my bookmarked list that I haven't gotten around to finishing yet!!

Yeah, I made it like 6 months ago and forgot about it, but I know how valuable garnering an audience for your story is before its published, so I'll definitely be more active on there in the upcoming months, maybe once the story is finished. My current mood is longing for Christmas, not only so i can be done my exams, but also so I ca go home and drink some Hot cocoa and watch my favourite Christmas movies! Miracle on 34th street and Home Alone 2 are probably my favourite :)))I literally listened to last Chrismtas like 20 times in the past week as well lol, but right now I'm listening to House Song by Searows, which I've never heard before but I really like it.
Well, I guess I should stop procrastinating because GUESS WHAT?? I have a lab report due on Friday that I haven't finished. I can see the end in sight guys, I swear :((
