Past:
When Danner was 15 years old, he had a 12 year old little brother. Aside from his other family members, he loved him the most. Their Parents were very abusive to both of them until the day came when His little brother was heavily hurt by both parents. With Danner’s high temper, he took a broken beer bottle and killed his mother followed by his father. [With not just a beer bottle]
With this event, the two children were sent to an orphanage. Ever since Danner’s first killings, His little brother had trauma and would scream whenever he saw something sharp and would start to go through seizures so he had to be taken to the clinic often. One day, both of them were adopted by a nice young man with a wife who could not give birth. Danner’s little brother was starting to heal from his trauma but was still very distant from his brother.
A few months later, Danner started to learn the Guitar, followed by the Electric guitar. While that happened, his little brother learned the Piano. Danner was a little interested in the instrument and asked if he could teach him a thing or two. His little brother accepted and after a few more weeks of practicing and teaching, him and his little brother were starting to get closer just like before.
Years have passed and Danner has just turned 19. It was his little brother’s 16th birthday and they were going to celebrate… but before they could light the candles, his little brother started to cough out blood… The test results went out… It was Tuberculosis. Sure there was a cure but it was too expensive f or the young couple. His little brother was put on a hospital bed and was not allowed to see his big brother and family again.
It’s been months and the disease was getting stronger every day. Danner and their foster parents were only allowed to visit a few times and only a few minutes. Every time they see him they would be filling their eyes with tears of joy, especially Danner. One day, when they were just leaving the hospital, Danner had the idea of buying a “guitar keyboard” so that he could show all the songs he had learned in piano to his little brother.
Every day he would practice his songs in his room before Saturday [the day they will be able to meet his little brother]. By the day they were going to visit, his little brother was sitting on the bed with a pillow to comfort his back while it rested by the wall. They talked and laughed and sang together with their wonderful songs that they composed all together, until, Danner stood up and opened a case that held his guitar keyboard. His little brother was thrilled and excited after seeing it.
Danner played a special song that he composed just for him and indeed he played it wonderfully. At the end, his little brother was filled with joy and hugged him as Danner sat down on the hospital bed right next to him. He was so proud of his big brother. They left and said their good byes after the minutes have passed.
The next day, Danner was in the middle of composing another song for his little brother until they got news. They rushed to the hospital and ran as quick as possible to his hospital room. Looking through the glass window, they saw his little brother breathing tremendously that he was already starting to shake and cough while inhaling sleeping gas through a mask. Danner was banging on the glass as hard as he could while the young couple just watched in terror.
A few hours had passed and his little brother was starting to calm down. He was sleeping while the doctors and the nurses were struggling to keep Danner out of the room. Danner did not hold back. He hit them as hard as he could and ran to his brother.
He woke up and saw the crying face of Danner and laughed a bit. He hugged him and told him that everything was going to be just fine as it always is… but his heart was slowing down every minute. Since the nurses and the doctors noticed it, they rushed to his little brother and started to do some operations while Danner was still there holding his hand. While Danner was panicking while looking at his little brother’s heart rate going slower and slower each time, he felt a hand grip on to his wrist.
“I want you to join an orchestra and fulfill my dream”, said his little brother. “I want you to play the Guitar Piano at the center and be the main player just *cough*- just like how I wanted to be”, he said once again as his breath was slowly fading away. “Please”, as his last breath came, his heart was starting to stop beating. The Defibrillators weren’t enough to make it go on.
His little brother was officially pronounced dead. The impact of his brother’s death hit him extremely hard that his heart began to race. He couldn’t help himself but shout and cry while holding his brother’s dead body. His parents were crying as well. The only words that came out of his moth were, “I promise”.
Years passed, he began to be insane. Every orchestra he wanted to sign up for rejected him and he would go in rage. He even wanted to try be a band player in Broadway, but he still was not accepted. He tried so hard to at least get a spot but NO! None.
Since he promised his little brother, he would do anything to fulfill his promise and because of that, he was starting to terrible things. He just wanted to fulfill his little brother’s promise.
