Ophelia could feel herself losing control. “What can I do to you?” Helios whispers into her ears, kissing them gently. He had planned to hide his desires, not wanting to scare her away, but she started this, he thought to himself. He could feel himself losing a sense of control. “You can do whatever you want, Helios.” Ophelia says, blushing ear to ear. Helios sees this as a sigh of consent. He lifts her even higher and starts going down on her. Ophelia pushes down on his head, grabbing his soft golden hair.
“Helios, please stop, Ophelia shouts.
He takes the opportunity to slip a finger into her now wet vagina. She tries to pull away but is unable to move.
“Keep still, Ophelia, or I don’t think that I can hold on.”
Ophelia does not move or talk back. He gently thrusts inside of her as she quietly screams, a look of pain on her face. She grips on to Helios’ arm, which is around her small waist. He looks into her eyes. still searching for reassurance and consent. Helios had never felt such pleasure in all his years of being a god. He was well aware of the differences between them; he was a titan; he was extremely strong; and she, well, she was just human. He knew that any wrong move could hurt her. Even kill her. He continues to move, looking at her every so often.
Helios had never done this before, but the other titans spoke often and consistently about it. He would also see and hear humans while he travelled to bring night. Once Ophelia stopped wincing, he knew that she was feeling pleasure. Her moans got louder and louder. He could feel himself sinking.
“Sunset will be here soon, my midnight.”
“Must you go?”
“Would you like to ride my chariot with me?” Helios asks, hoping for a yes.
“The last time that happened, the world almost...” Ophelia stops in her tracks, remembering that Helios did not know his future when he had children with Perse.
“ What happened last?” Helios asks, confused by Ophelia’s sudden silence. Her silence was not new to him, but this time it was oddly suspicious. Ophelia was lost in thought, wondering what would become of his children. Was she just a stop in his future? A side story?
“I don’t know what you are thinking, Ophelia, but I love you, my scarlet dawn.”
Ophelia remains silent, still lost in thought. Helios kisses her flushed cheeks. He stands up to leave, and she grabs him by the hand.
“I love you, Helios.” Helios looks into Ophelia’s eyes, searching for some sign of what is going through her mind. He can feel the weight of her unspoken thoughts hanging in the air between them. Despite her silence, he can see the love and uncertainty in her eyes. He squeezes her hand gently and sits back down beside her, pulling her into his arms. “We’ll figure it out together, whatever the future holds,” he whispers, kissing her forehead. Ophelia finally lets out a sigh of relief, feeling reassured by his words and his comforting embrace. She had many questions, but now was not the time. She needed to collect her thoughts now that she had calmed down, but her body was too tired to allow her to think. She closes her eyes and wakes up in her dream.

“Sky?” She calls out as a light appears to her. Sky was the being that taught Ophelia how to control her dreams.
She did not know exactly who Sky was, but she knew that Sky was always there for her. “Sky, what am I?”
She asks, already regretting her curiosity. Ophelia took to heart the saying that curiosity kills. Sky never spoke back to her, but she would always get an answer.

“I’m not a god or titan, am I?” In a flash, Ophelia became aware of her own existence, something she had never thought of before. Ophelia was the gift of one titan and the wish of her own making. She was always aware of her powers, but she never believed in herself. Helios’ dreams were not the only ones that she had entered unintentionally. She would wish for things in her dreams and wake up to find them by her side. Some would appear days later in unexpected ways. She could not wish for living beings or mystical creatures. She could not wish for death, but she could wish for the end of a war. Though she was not yet strong enough to dream of the end of a big war, she called her dreams miracles. She could not communicate with people in her dreams. Helios to her was beyond a miracle; he was a dream that she could not control having. Helios was a dreamer himself, and it was the law of Morpheus that other dreamers could not interfere with or hurt other dreamers. Somnus had deemed it this way at the beginning, and so it was divine law.

While Ophelia was left dreaming up a sense of her current reality, Helios was fighting a battle that Ophelia could not dream away.

“Helios!” Screams Zeus
“God of deceit!” replies Helios.
“I should have killed you in your mother’s womb, untimely ripped you out, and fed you to the sea children of Cronus.” Zeus shouts, sending his thunder on to Helios.
Zeus turns around to leave content with the thought that Helios was dead. Suddenly, Helios emerges from the ash and smoke. Helios looks around to see where the once green fields were.
“GOD OF THUNDER, THE SKY, AND death,” Helios echoes, getting Zeus ’ attention.

“You are still alive? How stubborn.” Zeus was clearly shocked; no one—God, Titan, or man had ever survived his thunder. “I am the titan of light, the god of death; your thunder is mine.” I want it back.” Helios holds out his hand, and Zeus’ thunder flies to his hand. Zeus , still levitating in the sky, staggers back in fear. An emotion that was estrange to him. Helios blows the thunder with a golden fire, and it turns to stone before Zeus’ eyes. Helios throws it into the sea. Zeus now enraged charges at Helios.

“The very thing you breathe, Zeus , is my light. Do you, dare, try to harm me again, King of all?” Helios says, smirking.
Zeus stops in his tracks.

“Helios, the kind, the bright, and the fake!” Zeus screams, shaking the skies above.
Zeus knew that this was a fight that he should not try to win. Helios truly was as strong as Cronus; there was no doubt about that. It would take an army to kill him. Zeus had gone to find Helios, angered by his defiance. No being in existence had ever left his presence without his command. To him, he had defied his authority in front of all creation. That Zeus could not excuse. No king could rule with no commandments or authority.

Zeus thought about bringing Helios back to court, so he sought help from those very commandments. But each of the seven commandments found no fault in Helios’ actions. Gaea refused to even see him, proclaiming that her grandchildren must sort out their own feuds. He knew how much she hated him, but he had never refused to help him before.

Zeus’ power was indeed weakened. He knew this from the moment that he could not see Ophelia coming from the past. So time took its course. Zeus decided to ask Odin for help to bring down Helios. A future that Helios knew was coming and so did not care and showed Zeus the true extent of his powers.

Apollo can have the day, Helios thought to himself the moment he saw what Zeus was truly willing to give up to destroy him.
