She even paired certain teas with classic novels, which added an extra special touch to your store in particular. And then there was Josi, a non-binary person of African descent, and they did the best makeup, you two loved sending each other pictures and videos of your individual looks. Josi was also awesome at pushing you out of your comfort zone without ever overstepping boundaries. These friendships grounded you, and we're some of the best people you knew. You were so lucky to have them. The four of you had a book club, and loved analyzing books. Meetings were usually hosted on slow days at the shop. The job was good and sustained you, and the friendships always lit up your days. These three always made you feel comfortable and secure.

Alex texted you 'Goodnight', and you finally put your phone away to charge, and drifted off to a land of dreams...
