She walked ever so carefully, feeling the snow crunch beneath her boots. Feeling the harsh winter air slap her cheeks, feeling her nose turning colder by the second. She tugged at her navy blue beanie, pulling it down to cover her frigid ears. She kept walking until she had saw a large rock, in front of a small river. She climbed up the rock, scraping her left hand on a sharp edge, but she didn't bother with it. When she reached the top, she sat down. She looked up and admired her favorite tree. She didn't know why it was her favorite tree. It was the same as all of the others. But it was her favorite. And to her, it was hers. The tree had brought her comfort, and had brought her peace, when things were too chaotic. It was strange that she had thought of it that way, but she didn't mind. She closed her eyes, letting a few drops of snow fall upon her face. She took something out of her pocket. Her hands moved, already knowing the actions she was going to take, while she just closed her eyes. She placed it against her mouth, and she breathed in. Then breathed out, and a small cloud of smoke appeared. Her eyes fluttered open. A thought ran through her head. She wanted to be gone. And at that moment, she was. She was gone. She was nothing more than an existing soul, amongst the trees and snow. There was no father to yell and scream at her, slap his large hands across her face. There was no mother that could look at her with disappointment and scream at her with all the anger she had. There was nobody, but her. And at that moment, she was fine with that. With the tall pine trees overpowering her, with the comforting sound of the steady river flowing down, and she could not hear a single creature-it was just herself. And she was perfectly fine with that. Because at the moment, she was an existing soul. And she wanted to be nothing more, nor nothing less. And it was beautiful.440Please respect copyright.PENANAN3f3Qn0LDk
But to him, it was a tragic sight. He was not too far away from her, but far enough to keep his distance. But this was the one girl that he had fell in love with, and he could not bear to see the sight of her so lonely. But what he did not know was that, she loved every moment that she got alone. She loved that, at this place, what she considered her place, she could forget about everything and everyone. And for just a moment, she could let her mind run wild. But at the moment, he just wanted to run to her and wrapped his arms around her. He wanted to ask her how her day was, how she was doing, what was her favorite color-get to know her. But he could not. For he was a stranger, silently admiring the girl, and he knew that she would be frightened. She looked so beautiful, so peaceful, yet so lonely. He had longed to say something. Say something to the beautiful girl with long brown hair, fluttering eyelashes, and rich green eyes. Oh, how he longed to say something, but he knew that he was too much of a coward to do so. He walked away, in the opposite direction from the way she came from. He stepped carefully, not wanting her to realize that he was there. But he heard an angel call out, who's there? He slowly turned around, and they had made eye contact. His dark cocoa eyes met her emerald eyes. They stared into each other's windows, for what he felt like what was an eternity. He opened his pale lips and spoke first, I-I-I-I'm sorry...I'm disturbing you, aren't I? His cheeks turned red, he was embarrassed. He did not want to disturb the girl. The girl just politely stared at him. He turned around and before he could take his first step, she called out, it's okay. He turned around again and looked at her. She smiled and added, do you wanna join me? He was flustered. In his mind, he very much loved to do so. But he thought that would be strange or weird or... he wasn't sure. It's okay, it can get lonely here sometimes. And it was true. For not matter how much she loved the loneliness, she could not help but think that another person would make it better.440Please respect copyright.PENANAwTqyQBOAtE
And so he did.
They had met every day, from then on. They had gotten each other's number, emails, and social media username. But despite all of that, they preferred to meet in person. He was always there first, sweeping off the snow off of the large rock that they sat at. And she always arrived second, bringing blankets when it got too cold for their jackets to handle. They met every day at the place where tall pine trees grew and overpowered the both of them, where the soft river flew by, and where the snow fell into the perfect pile creating a blanket of snow around the two. They would talk about everything sometimes, from their family to what they hope their future would hold. Or they would say no more than a few hundred words, letting silence talk as they slowly observe the nature around them. And as time passed, the closer they got. No one said anything officially, but they both knew that they loved each other. No one needed to. For their eyes had said everything they wanted to. One day, she sat in his laps, leaned her head against his chest, and they stared into each other's eyes. He said it, I love you. And she was surprised, yes, but in an instant, replied, I love you, too. And they kissed. 440Please respect copyright.PENANAZPs6xe8bpz

His left hand, and her right hand intertwined, creating warmth on that cold day. His right hand reached up and touched her cheek, spreading warmth there as well. Her left hand reached beneath the jacket and touched his back, and after a few moment, they broke apart. They were both catching their breath. He loved her, and she loved him. Silence took over again. And they had stayed in that position. They didn't care. Because at that moment, they were existing souls. 440Please respect copyright.PENANAa3aKXBPHoM
They were two beautiful souls, intertwined with each other, both just letting their mind and heart run wild.
