Apart from writing a story, we had to consider what the people want and need.Which story appeals to more people.How to make our story interesting enough so that we can have our stories published.Not to mention the editing process.
Writing requires you to use your brain fully and plan carefully. Make sure there is no plot holes,etc. I remember my dad always consider novel writing to be just about live and stuff. No.Novel writing also can talk abouy history,mystery,sci fi,etc.
I would rather have my kid read a lot than playing games on iPad 23 hours a day.
