Alex couldn't remember what happened after Kai's last words. It was as if he was reliving everything all over again, but this time the first thing he felt was a headache and nausea. He looked around and realized he was home. The gun he had last pointed at himself had disappeared. Desperate, he crawled to the sink and ended his nausea by vomiting. When he came to, he stood in front of the mirror.
"Shit... How is this possible, I still remember every moment. I wonder if people were right when they told my parents we were crazy?" When Alex managed to pull himself together, he decided to call Jessy again. When he found his phone he saw a lot of calls from the center but also noticed that the date was wrong. He dialed Jessy's number and after a few tries he realized that someone was picking up.
"Hello, who is this?" Alex was surprised when Jessy answered the phone. Excited, Alex started talking quickly.
"Jessy, where have you been, you pain in the ass? We need to talk right now."
Jessy deepened her tone and said, "Excuse me, but who are you?"
"Jessy, I don't have time to play games, meet me at the center."
"I don't know who you are, but you better not call this number again, asshole." Alex quickly put on his clothes without hearing Jessy's last words. He had to get to the center. Once outside, he realized that the surroundings looked different than they did. Alex drove to the NYPD, wondering how long he had been out and when he had gotten his car cleaned.
Arriving at the center and finding that Mark still hadn't left the building, Alex went straight to Mark's room and when he entered Mark stopped talking on the phone and started talking. "Where are you, you fucking asshole!"
He thought this man had stopped calling him a asshole years ago, and the other thing was, what was this man, who had been promoted to Regional Chief a few years ago, doing here? "I'm here. What's going on, Mark?"
Mark was staring at Alex, sensing something was wrong with him. "So you stopped calling me Chief when you became a rebel. I thought you'd tell me what's going on, I'm not the one with the Fedarels."
"I don't know what the hell is going on here, let's postpone this for later, please. Where is Jessy? Have you seen her?"

"Don't interrupt me, Mr. Brown! About three hours ago we received a report of an unauthorized transfer of information from the Washington servers. We also learned that there was a shootout in the server room between the burglar and security, but the culprit was not captured, but luckily, when we received word that the culprit had been shot, we easily identified the blood trail. Alex was drowning in his thoughts as time slipped away in the light of the unknown. Memories of his childhood came to his mind, the memories he had spent with his father now seemed like a dream. It was like imagining someone who never existed. What if his mother had never seen him? The only thing he remembered about his mother was that his father always carried her photo in his pocket. This was the only trace that proved she existed. When he came to himself before his thoughts overtook him, he found himself on a plain surrounded by misty mountains. Looking around, he realized that he had never seen such a magnificent view of nature before. Everything was perfect, nature was showing its beauty as if it had never met a colonial human being before. Alex glanced around a little and then noticed again the injured dog in his arms. The husky was dying and he had done it for him. An elder had sacrificed his life for her. Did he deserve it?
"Please don't die. Please hold on!" Alex could never have imagined that his newfound friend could have such an effect on him. Before Husky took his last breath, he jumped off Alex's lap and ran as if he was pointing somewhere, and when he finally reached the mouth of a cave, he crouched down and closed his eyes for the last time, gently pointing inside with his paw. Alex looked at the entrance to the cave with its colorful lights shining like a rainbow, and then came to Husky's feet. "I won't forget your favor, Husky. I promise you that."

As the cave deepened, crystals and ancient shapes appeared. Kai jumped on every obstacle, no matter how high, and smashed them to smithereens. As they passed through the crystals and reached the next section, strange sounds began to emanate from the empty stalactites. Alex kept looking around because of the noises. They had come into a huge room completely surrounded by dim red lights.
Kai decided to break the silence. "I've never seen anything like this before. You really came here for a reason, stonehead."
Alex replied, walking more cautiously than Kai. "I hope so, or you're going to be in big trouble." Kai laughed at this, adding to the strange lagoon sounds around them.
"I guess you're not going to tell me who you are."
"Another time, maybe... Hey behind you!" Kai turned around to find a Minotaur of gigantic proportions staring at them.
The Minotaur ran at Kai without giving him time, but Kai did not move at all. When the Minotaur swung its axe with all its might, Kai dodged quickly, sending it crashing to the ground. Before the Minotaur had time to recover, Kai touched the Minotaur's head, causing a huge burst of light. As the light in the room became visible again, Alex realized that there were two Minotaurs in front of him, but one of them was larger and redder. The original Minotaur suddenly changed its target and struck Alex with the handle of its axe, sending Alex flying into the corner of the room. When Alex recovered, he saw the two Minotaurs engaged in a fierce battle, shouting war cries at each other. Alex was grasping the room when he spotted a second enemy at the last moment and his jump saved his life. After the failed attack, the Basilisk regrouped and tried to attack again. Alex tried to dodge the Basilisk by dodging behind every obstacle he could find."I could use some help right now!" Alex waited for a response from Kai, only to hear more Minotaur roars. Gasping for breath, Alex dodged around the largest stone in the room and jumped on the Basilisk's tail, gripping it tightly. Alex didn't know why he was doing it, it was just a gut feeling. Alex closed his eyes as the Basilisk turned its head towards him and let the energy flow out of him and into the monster beneath him. And so silence finally fell over the cave.
