Chapter One - Science Class

It was fourth period, which meant science class in Room 189, the place filled with all the
coolest things you could ever imagine. As I grabbed four big, fat science books, my roommate, Lucy, suddenly appeared behind me. With her mischievous grin, she greeted me just in time for Mr. Anderson's class. The room hummed with excitement as our teacher set up an experiment at the front. Today's topic was the wonders of the universe – black holes, galaxies, and maybe even extraterrestrial life. Throughout the lesson, Lucy couldn't resist cracking jokes, making the class more entertaining. As the bell rang, Mr. Anderson gave us an exciting homework assignment: to create a machine that lets us go back in time, but there was a twist, whichever two partners could finish building their time machine the fastest would get this year’s space award of fastest time machine built. Lucy’s eyes lit up, she always loved races, and she was sure she would win this one.

Chapter Two - The Plan
Lucy and I tackled the challenge of building a time machine for Mr.Anderson’s homework in our dorm room. Our plan was for each of us to bring our ideas. Lucy who loved races, suggested a friendly competition for our project. We split the tasks - she handled the machine’s parts, and I explored the theories. The excitement of time travel fueled our creativity, and late-night brainstorming sessions became our secret meet-ups. The room buzzed with anticipation as we worked on our time machine, unaware of the exciting journey that the science project had in store for us in the world of temporal exploration.

Chapter Three - We’re done!!!
“Done,” we both said at the same time after we put the last and final piece together.”Now we just need to see if it works” I said to Lucy. Lucy was my roommate she was always nice to me and she’s smart, so that’s why I picked her to be my partner.” Okay testing 5 4 3 2”, “Wait!!!”, I interrupted Lucy,” What if we get blown up???, we should wear protective suits just in case”, I said “I guess”, she replied. As we got in our suits the time machine malfunctioned and turned on, sucking us into the past.

We landed right in front of an Ice cream shop, at least it looked like one,” Let’s go buy some ice cream!!!”, said Lucy” Woah there, now we don’t know if that’s Ice Cream'', I said.”Sure we do, it looks like it”, replied Lucy as she walked up to the guy who was as big as Godzilla. She bravely walked up to him and said “Can I have an Ice cream” She asked with puppy eyes.”Little girl this is not Ice cream, and why are you here, aren’t you supposed to be with the other kids?”. “Ummm… what other kids?” she asked, she was about to say something else but I cut in and said ”Sorry she just has um… this kind of memory loss called um,” I quickly looked around and saw a shop name, Nepalamonia “Nepalamonia,” I continued. “Isn’t that the name of a shop, you know what, I do not care. Just go to the other kids over there,” he said. We did not want to follow his directions, but we knew what was going to happen if we didn’t, so we went over to the other kids.

After we got to the group they took us into some building which was somehow supposed to protect us even though it was made of glass! We sat down there until… “Hey, let’s try to escape,” Lucy said. I shook my head. “Why not?” she asked sadly, starting to get up. I pulled her hand which made her fall down to the ground. After a while she ran to the door when I wasn’t looking, so there was nothing else to do but chase her. “STOP,” the soldiers said, but we didn’t listen, so they ran after us. In a little while they caught up to us and threw us in a prison. “I thought that kids weren’t supposed to go to prison!” Lucy said, I told her to shut up but she continued, so I put a hand over her mouth. “We need to find a way to escape!” I whispered in her ear. She finally shut up and we started to talk about our plan until Comet barged in by teleporting, which is one of the robotic dogs’ superpowers “Comet!” I said, very happy to see him.

“Could you help us escape?” I asked. He took a scroll of paper out from his paw and wrote ‘Let’s make a deal, if you give me a treat I will help you escape’. “Deal,” I said and shook his furry paw. He clicked a button on his paw and entered the code ‘59647’, which made some blades come out of his paw. Then, he went over and cut a square out of the bars, just enough for us to squeeze through. “We’re free!!!” Lucy said and started doing the funniest dance in the world!

Chapter Seven-Finding the Time Machine

“But you still have to sign the paper,” Comet said. I rolled my eyes and signed the paper, that’s when I saw that it said ‘You have to give me 100 bags of treats’. “Metal shaped as treats are expensive and I NEVER EVER AGREED TO THIS SCAM,” I said, outraged. “You already signed the contract!” Comet said, as he snatched the scroll from my hand and ran away from me. “Robotic dogs…,” I mumbled under my breath. “What happened,” Lucy said, finishing the dance. “Nothing,” I answered, “Where’s Comet,” she asked forcing me to bite my tongue so I didn’t accidentally say ‘why do you care, you freak’, “Nowhere, but do you know where the time machine is?” I asked. “I think I do, based on the research I think it’s in the capital monument,” Lucy said, acting smart. “You’re just saying that because you want to be smart, aren’t you?” I said half-laughing. She nodded, guilty. “I think it should be just where we left it,” I said, trying to find where we first started. After a little while we finally found the so-called ice cream shop. The time machine wasn’t there, so I looked for traces of where they put it. Finally, I found a trace. I wave for Lucy to come with me. And we found the time machine, after what seemed like an eternity. “Lucy!!!” I whisper screamed, getting her attention away from the ice cream man. Lucy finally looked at me and said “I found the time machine,” I rolled my eyes and started planning how to get the time machine back.
