The leader of a Werewolf Pack.
Alpha Marks
Two marks that are present on Gray Wolf, who is destined to become an Alpha. They can be identified by a crescent moon birthmark on their neck and eyes that become red when they lose control.
Angel Luna
The Angel of the full moon that created the Gray Wolf bloodlines.
Ascension
The ceremony that must be completed for a werewolf to become an Alpha.
Beta
The second-in-command of a Werewolf Pack.
Blood Exchange
A process that occurs when two Werewolves, usually a Brown Wolf and Gray Wolf, exchange their blood in order to create a mind link. It may also increase a Brown Wolf's immediate attack power by temporarily giving he or she Gray Wolf characteristics.
Brown Wolf
A Werewolf that is turned by a Gray Wolf and was originally a human. They usually have brown hair, and brown eyes, as this reflects their Wolf form.
Brown Wolf Illness
A disease that all Brown Wolves are inflicted with due to Gray Wolf venom in their system. The symptoms include: fevers, unstable heart rate, pain, memory loss, depression, insanity, hallucinations and inevitably, death.
Gray Wolf
A Werewolf that is born, rather than turned. They generally have black hair and grey eyes that turn black when they lose control.
Lycanthropy
The study of Werewolves.
Mind Link
A method of communication between Soulmates that others cannot access. It can be temporarily established through a Blood Exchange.
Promise Code
A law that prevents Gray Wolves from breaking their promises. Despite this, there are several instances where it be overruled. If this is the case, the Gray Wolf who broke the promise is forced to be under the other's control.
Soulmate
Two Werewolves, usually two Gray Wolves, that are predestined to fallin love with each other. If one should die, the other would also be driven to insanity or death.
Soulmate Curse
A curse placed on the Grayson Family, the first bloodline of Gray Wolves, in order to weaken them. Any Werewolf that carries the Grayson name is cursed with two Soulmates, a Gray Wolf and a Brown Wolf. The Grayson Wolf must ultimately choose one of them and abandon the other. This curse is also often referred to as The War of Hearts.
Wolf Guardian
