I'm really sorry. i got married, am in the middle of a move, and have exams in five days. This is the best I can do <3
I promise the next two uploads are going to be AWESOME. I already got a plan. ;)

The walk to the church was a solemn one. Kreta nervously cradled and fussed with the squirming infant, trying to calm the little thing. LeVane hung by his wife's side, taking her arm in his while staring straight ahead in focus. His closed fist was the only indicator of any uneasiness, otherwise his face was blank. The boys followed behind as normal, grabbing sticks and and throwing rocks on the way towards the church. Kreta didn't have the additional thought to scold them this morning for causing a commotion. However, once in sight of the large oak doors, the boys remembered their mother's words at breakfast and decided to behave themselves.
Men and women of the village were gathered at the front of the church in their Sunday attire of greens and blues in their own little circles. As the LeVane's neared there was a sudden halt in conversation and an increase in staring. The gossip was all over town. They all knew exactly where the babe had come from.
The babe continued to squirm in Kreta's arms, causing a group of older women to frown and give glances of disapproval before they went inside to sit in the front row benches.
The church bells began to ring in their familiar low brass tones and the village shuffled inside to dutifully hear their priest's sermon. Throughout the entire congregation the LeVane's sat with uneasiness as glances of disfavor made their way were very apparent. The babe was soothed by the quiet and fell asleep as the sermon moved on into prayer. Afterwards some of the elderly went in front of the cathedral and prayed with the priest as he sat in his ordained chair. The bells rang once more and everyone departed for their rest day.
The LeVane's stayed behind, the boys appropriately standing neatly with their arms crossed behind their backs and observing as their mother and father went to the front and to seek the priest.
The priest sat in a chair where the back reached all the way up to the ceiling, with the depictions of carved gods and angels rising into the dark crevices of the rafters. LeVane and his wife kneeled before him
"A word, Father," LeVane spoke.
The priest saw the bowed, lowered heads and nodded in approval. The elder women had already come forward and expressed their concern, using prayer in guise of gossip. The priest did indeed see a baby in the arms of LeVane's wife. He wanted a closer look at what the women described as a sinful creature. "Let me see the child," the priest finally spoke. He motioned for Kreta to come forward.
Kreta rose and took a step forward to present the sleeping babe.
"Her name is Mira, Father."
