“AHHHHHHH.” I heard my daughter scream I grabbed my gun and ran upstairs to where Zuri was. When I came in her room she was in her phone.
”What’s wrong.”
”Daydream is gonna be my sister thank you daddy.” She said running up and hugging me. I had no idea what she was talking about till I looked at her phone and her and Day have been talking about how shorty and I were together. Neither one of us made it official we were still getting to know each other outside of being parents.
I went into my room and called Daja and she answered the FaceTime. I was caught off guard because she was in a towel with water dripping down her. Damn she looked good.
”Why does Zuri think her and Day are about to be sisters?”
”My daddy want to meet the man I’m around town with. She said something about them being sisters but I didn’t pay it no attention I’ll talk to her.” She said and got off camera when she came back it looked like she had nothing on.
“What you got on pretty mama.” I said and she showed me the strapless tube shirt and some short ass shorts. Damn she looked good, too damn good.
“I just got out the shower. I’m about to lay down here shortly.” She said.
“Shit let me come lay next to you.” I joked.
”Whatever Zahseem. You have been summoned to my daddy’s Sunday dinner you okay with that?”
“yeah I mean shit I fuck with you baby I’m just waiting on you to tell me your ready for me.” I said.
”I told you it’s not what you want.” She said to me.
”I want it all. I’m gonna get you baby trust me on that.”
It’s been a long week and shorty and I were spending time together. Only she has been gona all day and tomorrow was the dinner with her pops. I wasn’t complaining because I knew what I signed up for. When she finally did come home the kids were sleep and her food was in the microwave. She came in and she looked tired she sat on the edge of the bed. She look tired so I got up and ran her a bath. When I came back I helped her in the tub and sat next to her on the floor.
”When I get out of the tub I’ll cook.” She said.
”No need my love. I took care of it. You been running around since 8 this morning.”I said.
”Really you cooked?” She asked.
”Yeah let me take some of the load off of you.” I shrugged.
The next evening we dropped the kids off at my mothers and we headed to her fathers house. When we got there she got started in the kitchen and I was there with her father. When I realized who her father was I damn near shit a brick. Diesl Danger and Don I use to work for back in my younger days when I wanted to follow my brother around. I was one of his top shooters till he tried to pay me to take out a pregnant woman and I told him I couldn’t do that. That was my last day as a shooter and I took my ass to school and put myself on the right track.
”So does my daughter know who you really are.” Don asked me.
”what do you mean? I am who I am.” I shrugged.
“You know what I mean.” Don said.
”No. I don’t do that shit no more. I run a business as you know.” I said.
”Good keep it that way. Least I know you can protect my daughter. Long as you do right by my child we are good.” Don said and I nodded.
“pops it’s not him you need to worry about it’s our mean ass sister.” Danger said and they slapped hands.
”Not too much on my lady.” I said. “ She’s not that bad.”
“My daughter is mean as fuck I love the girl but boy you haven’t even seen the half.” Don said.
