Well for my first issue I've selected a subject that everyone can relate to - MUSIC ( hard to imagine anyone who would say otherwise ). Everyone loves some type ( genre ) of music, it's always there in the list of things that you love...right?? And by now you're wondering so what's the point in writing about it? ...
Well, let me ask you this - have you ever been in a conversation with someone, a friend maybe, where they reveal their taste in music and you are like - WTF! you like pop, it's trash and all that. The genre that I like is the real deal and vice versa. It's likely that you have been in this type of situation. Even I have seen a fare share of people going to great lengths to criticize other's choices in music, going as far as calling particular songs/genre trash or worthless.870Please respect copyright.PENANA8vwHjtTuo2
I for one dont agree. There's no good music or bad music, it's just simple music. Music is something that's soothing to the ears, something that you can relate to on a personal level. For some it's pleasure, for some passion, for some an escape and much more. Different types of people have different taste in music for different reasons and you simply cannot compare them with others. Everyone's fine tuned to a different frequency( not literally :D) and the type of songs that match your's are the songs that you tend to like. Similarly it's inappropriate to compare today's musical works with the old classics, both are from totally different times. People generally tend to point out that mordern music is mainly dependent on the use of various instruments and computers for creating songs. But who knows what would have happened if these instruments were available then too....right? The point being that it's futile to compare different people's taste in music or to compel them to love songs that you like, because the reasons for liking a particular song may differ. Music is meant to connect and not to argue. So enjoy. But that's just me and my opinion. You may have a totally different view.
Finally over! (sighs). So this is what I think about music( not that anyone would care, but still, had to let it out somewhere ), let me know if you agree or not.
