I'm quite honestly astounded at the response this contest received, not to mention encouraged. No arguing happened. It was all respectful, and that was the hole goal here, so thank you guys SO much for doing me the honor of hosting such an amazing contest. Everyone's opinions was very appreciated, and it took me literally all day to decide the winners. Ultimately, I went with two things: expression of opinion/emotion use, and how far out they reached. 880Please respect copyright.PENANAd1v4OS9Ck8
1st Place: RoseOfNoonvale (So Called Racism) -- Loved this mainly because it is so true, and nowadays not many people go with the fact that hey, maybe what's going on isn't really racism, not to mention it is also currently a very touchy subject. You get a short story, a poem, and a prize of choice. (Reminder: choice prize must be non-payment and over the internet only. A picture drawn for you for example.)880Please respect copyright.PENANAqsyrC8BeDx
2nd Place: Bluemoon Scriptor -- Not unlike first place, it was a opinion very much against the normal social norm, well-written and entirely respectable. You get a story and a poem.
3rd Place: TheGreatEscaper -- Very much the use of expression and writing in this. It was a joy to read and very bold in a sense. "Respect me and I'll respect you" is the vibe I'm getting from this. Loved it. You get a story or a poem. 880Please respect copyright.PENANAOz7ZgEsuHR
**A note to my winners: If you don't want any prize, just tell me. Less work for me that way. *absolute sarcasm* Feel as though I need to give something back, y'know?
For everyone else, superb job. I know this topic isn't easy to write, but all of you are winners in my book. :)880Please respect copyright.PENANADGDW3yrohb
Next Contest Theme: Inspiration. (definitely less of a hitter, eh?)
