I cried out as I fell into a puddle as the bullies stood in front of me. "That's what you get for getting in my way," the leader, a 10-year-old Martha said as she glared at me with her arms crossed and her lackeys behind her doing the same pose. My 7-year-old self-sniffling as I wiped off the water from my face, I stood back up "it's not nice to bully others..." I muttered and that just made her even angrier, but before she could touch me a voice sounded behind me "what do you kids think you're doing?" Martha and her gang gasped before taking off.
I recognized that voice anywhere...my big brother James. After we had dinner my brother helped me get ready for bed. When he tucked me in I asked him a question "you won't leave me right big brother?"
