“So you’re basically saying we’re lost!” She cried out and pulled her hair frantically. “Calm down Abby! I’m sure Di knows how to get out.” Raine looked a Di for help but Di was just as lost as her. It had been an hour since they entered the forest. They ventured in deeper than they attended to.669Please respect copyright.PENANANrKgvdAAe1
“Let’s just look around, maybe we’ll find someone?” Di wasn’t sure that they’ll find anyone here. Especially since no one was allowed to enter the forest. “Ahem,” Abby fixed her hair and patted her dress. “I suppose we should be reasonable here.” Abby pretended to be mature and looked around paranoid. “Look who’s talking,” Raine mumbled. “Shut it!” Abby yelped and continued looking around.669Please respect copyright.PENANA0uJz2LDzss
“Also, where’s Sandra?” Raine wondered. “I’m over here! Di come look at this.” Her voice seemed to echo throughout the forest. The forest had this way to make its presence known . A sorta creepy vibe to it that gave you goosebumps or the feeling of an ice cube traveling down your spine. If you stand still and quiet you can hear the birds tweeting and their wings flapping. You can hear the rustling of the leaves and small critters running around.669Please respect copyright.PENANAWIp5soBnPF
Carefully, Di headed where she first heard Sandra’s voice along with the others. Ducking under tree branches, swatting pesky bugs away, and watching where they stepped. “Look at the tree,” They heard her voice again but this time she was in their vision. “Which one? There are hundreds if you haven’t noticed.” Abby snapped. “Oh really? Wow, I didn’t realized.” Raine replied, her words laced with sarcasm. Abby glared daggers at her and they both began their bickering once more.
“Di look, it looks like it’s glowing.” Sandra whispered softly. They both looked at the tree. It was large, larger than most tree there and it looked ancient. Moss was planted at every inch of the tree. It looked so soft and squishy, the moss was a beautiful shade of shamrock and parakeet.669Please respect copyright.PENANADdxJuwg9UO
It seemed so surreal, like something right out of fairytale. “It really does look magical,” It send this power wave of happiness and hope. “I wonder…” Di mumbled and reached forward feeling the soft moss. Sandra followed her and squished it. “Sorta reminds me of sand.” She said and Di nodded in awe.669Please respect copyright.PENANA6Jlp0Phsvl
“Raine! Abby! Get over here, feel this.” Sandra yelled at both stopping them from arguing even more. “Woah, what is that.” Raine asked as her eyes lit up with happiness. “Moss, dum dum.” Abby spat and crossed her arms. “Just touch it you two! It feels so nice.” Di instructed. The two touch the soft slushy substance. Instantly their faces lit up. They all had their hands on the tree, they felt happy and calm. They weren’t arguing but rather smiling and giggling.
“Uhh, is it suppose to be doing that?” Abby pointed out, they look at her and then the tree. It was glowing brightly. “I think maybe we should-” Before she had a chance to finish her sentence they get knocked back from the tree.
“Argh, what the heck?” Sandra groaned rubbing temples. “AHHH!” They heard a high pitched shriek from Abby. “What’s wrong?” Di asked worried. “THERE WAS A SPIDER ON ME!” Abby continued to cry. Raine rolled her eyes, “Of course there’s gonna be spiders in a forest, idiot.” Abby pretended not hear her. “Tsk, let’s just find an exit.” Sandra said and looked around. The four completely forgetting what previously happened before.
