The man was sitting under a single tree, in hopes that the leaves would shield him from the rain, but not even the leaves could hold the storm's sword. The man could feel his sense of touch fading away. The rough splintery spear, his left hand could no longer feel it. His family was nowhere to be seen.
Just an hour ago, his son was walking by his side, for today was his son's first day hunting. The clouds roared, as the grass plains seem to have the ground moving. The man felt his muscles weaken, it felt like a chore to move his arm, even his eyelids were beginning to feel heavy.
The sky boomed once again, as a shadowey figure could be seen not even eight feet from the man. His mind told him it could be a predator, but his body would not react. The rain showed no signs of stopping. The shadowey figure creeped closer, as the heavens growled once again.
The man gave up before he even tried to fight. His life was beginning to flash before his eyes, as the figure walked closer to him, he could smell the blood on its fur. "My life has been great," said the man, smiling at the beast.
Then, out of nowhere, seemingly like the storm itself was watching over him, the sky blasted its power on the very tree the man sat under. A light flashed on the entire land, and the beast's face was shown before he darted off from the sky's power. The huntsman looked up, and the tree was lit up by this, orange light. The cold wind, he could no longer feel.
The warmth of this bright orange light covered him like the softest blanket he had ever slept under. The rain could not stop the concentrated heat's embrace, as the man said "thank you" to the storm. Hours later, the storm had passed, and the fire had almost been put out. The huntsman was now as alive, as he had been dead in the storm. He ripped off a branch, put it in the flames so it could stick to his branch, and walked off. His left hand had a tight hold on his spear, and his right had a careful hold on on the stick with a mini sun stuck on it, he couldn't wait to show his family. "I wonder if there's a way to make fire without the sky," he asked himself.
Months later, smoke was rising in the middle of a forest, and two rocks were near the camp fire over the man, and his family.
