"I think I shall call her Belle." My mother looked at me and smiled
"What makes you think it is a she?" I looked at my mother taking in her beautiful features.
"Because she told me that was her name.".......
I jolted awake, instantly pressing my index finger and my thumb on either side of my face to massage my temples. The headache I was experiencing was fierce and relentless.
My seat started to shake and the lights above me were flickering slightly.
Well, that's not good.
I turned my head now focusing on my surroundings, but came face to face with my reflection in the round window. Staring beyond my plain Jane of a face to examine the sky. The clouds were gray and angry-looking; it could have been the night time's normal scowl, but the lightning that hissed through the air seconds later confirmed that it was not.
The planes speaker buzzed to life.
"We're going to be landing in New York shortly. There will be mild turbulence due to the storm, so please ladies and gentleman buckle your seat belts." The pilot's deep rustic voice was clipped off with a popping sound from the speaker, indicating that he indeed was done with his speech.
I don't even know why Russell bothers when the only people on the plane was Ms. Seville and myself.
I continued to stare at the sky ignoring my already buckled seat belt.566Please respect copyright.PENANApWC7Eo1Il1

"Lightning marked the atmosphere like veins of blue blood that was furiously trying to fuel life in the dead sky
Soon enough just as the veins brought with life to the lifeless sky
They died
The sky took all the life the veins held and drained it like a spider to its prey
After the sky had its fill of the vein like a disgusting beast, it roared its victory
Belching as if its hunger was quenched but as the sky's life was drained again and again
It seemed the sky could not be sated and the lightning was just devoured." 566Please respect copyright.PENANAxpnTuMY8HI

" You look as if you're writing poetry in your head again. What line can you inspire me with now?" Ms. Seville had a small smile on her already tiny lips, I glanced up at her curly brunette hair in her signature messy top knot. Her squared glasses sat slightly lower than normal on her perfectly sculpted nose, giving her a look of sophisticated curiosity.
"The sky is a lifeless monster who steals the life of the storm." I turned back toward the window ignoring Seville's raised eyebrows.
"Oh, and what makes you say so?" Seville's mocking tone did not go unnoticed so I knew if I turned to meet her blue eyes they would hold criticism as she tries to argue down my statement. Unfortunately for her; I wasn't in the mood, I just wanted to recall my dream.
"Hello, is Ambrosia there? Knock-knock." I sighed and turned toward Ms. Seville.
"Why am I changing houses again? Was I not good enough for them?" I recalled my previous home with my previous mother and father who lived in South Africa as doctors. Their names were Mr. James and Mrs. Cleone Horingold, they were a lovely pair and we had so much fun together.
I had been with them for 7 years of my life, ever since I was 10. They raised me after my parents from Egypt, Russia, Asia, and the UK where I was born. Now I am adventuring to a whole new part of the world, yet again being passed around like a therapeutic doll.
I felt Ms. Seville place a hand on my thigh.
"Ambrosia you are a wonderful child don't ever think of yourself as not good enough for anyone. Do you hear me?" I turned and looking into her sympathetic blue orbs and felt the need to laugh and cry at the same time.
"Then why didn't they just adopt me? Why did they let me go?" Seville's eyebrows crease together as if she just gained a migraine before she let out a slow sigh.
"I don't know Ambrosia, but I know the decision they made was not as easy as you make it sound." I frowned unhappy with her answer.
I sat collecting my thoughts, reflecting back to my dream. All I could remember was the firefly named Belle and the voice of a woman asking me how I knew it was a girl. I could remember nothing before or after that, but I knew the woman was a mother of mine.
The plane descended from the sky and the popping in my ears began all over again. The storm was above us now, allowing me to look down upon the lights of the city we passed while listening to the rain thump upon the plane in heavy drops. It was like a symphony of sound; a pitter-patter here and a ding and a ting there, but all together it made a lullaby of rhythm's and sounds. It was making me drowsy as we made our way to the landing site.
I turned to Seville and finally spoke.
"Wake me up when tomorrow comes." She let out her normal musical giggle.
"Sure." I closed my eyes allowing the darkness to win.

I wasn't sleep for long my drowsiness told me that, but at the same time I was glad to be on solid ground. I collected myself quickly and scampered off the jet following Ms. Seville's quick footsteps. There was a black car waiting for us a few feet away from the jet, Ms. Seville waited patiently as the driver made their way to us with an umbrella so we wouldn't get wet.
"Good evening ladies sorry to keep you waiting. The weather isn't being nice at all today in the big city as you can see." The driver had on a black rain poncho and his face was old and withered, but his fluffy whimsical mustache gave him character in his old age. His cheeks were rosy and his eyes were emeralds.
He made me think of my old grand papa; he was Egyptian and his name was Moses but he spoiled me like I was his own blood, I missed him terribly when I left that home.
"Hello Charlie it's good to see you again." Seville gave Charlie a kiss on each cheek to make up for the fact that she couldn't hug him. Charlie smiled a wide cheeky smile before placing the large umbrella above our heads.
"Well, I think it's best we get a move on, lady Vignette's new parents cannot wait to meet her." I felt the corners of my mouth twitch downward, but I forced them up quickly giving Charlie the brightest smile I could manage.
"Yes, please." Seville gave me a worried side glance at my forced response but I pushed her along and in the car.
I can make it through this day.

The car ride was long but peaceful, Ms. Seville busied herself with her work while Charlie quietly drove to my new home. The sky was bright and filled with fresh morning dew on a seemingly nice autumn day for New York state.
"Charlie you wouldn't happen to know just what time it is? Would you?" I asked as I stepped out the car after a swift look at his watch he answered.
"It is exactly 9:15 AM my lady." Even though he gave me a reassuring smile, I felt the corners of my mouth try to droop down once again, but I managed to rein them in to give Charlie a small smirk in return.
"Are you sure everyone is awake, or even home?" Charlie barked out a laugh at my question.
"Oh my lady they are home and can't wait to meet you indeed, but you will be presented to them at exactly noon. Those were the masters orders."
I peered beyond Charlie taking in my new home, which looked to be a decently sized mansion. Like my old homes before it, it was large and reeked of good fortune. This home was white and perilous, the lawns were properly tended to and the plants were modernly styled. Over all it was a beautiful home, so I had to guess my new mother liked order and beautiful things.
"Isn't it lovely?" Seville nudged me with her elbow playfully giving me a sideways glance.
To be totally honest it looked nice but it could never compare to my African wonderland; that place was true magic.
But now I'll never be able to go back.
I smiled back at Seville. "Its a dream."
