For her whole life, she only wished for someone who could talk about small things, wear the same thing, argue about little thing, and grow old together with her. She did not want anymore than that. She started to study about computer and played this game beacuse all she wanted was to wander this new world where she believed that something was waiting for her, meant for her. It was not easy neither virtual nor reality. Many obstacles that she had passed proved that. Nevertheless, Judy believed she found the one. She would never want to let go of him and she was sure that Daniel felt the same way.
It took her quite a moment to put herself together. Everything seemed to be on her side today beacuse she saw a poster said that there would be a New Year’s firework show at Logitech Central Park tonight. Her Daniel would never missed such feast like this. She immediately messaged him about the festival and he replied that he needed to get something done first before he could go anywhere.
Judy was waiting, she parked her car not so far from his house. She could clearly see if anyone would step out of that house, but before she saw anyone, she noticed that it started to snow. Three hours had passed, it was almost midnight now, there was no sign of Daniel. She kind of gave up now. She could come later anyway. The loneliness slowly ate her alive. She decided to drive to the festival and grabbed something warm to drink. “Five minutes until midnight huh”, Judy said that. She found the perfect spot. She sat on the steps, not so far from the festival, she would be able to see the fireworks clearly from here. People rapidly shouted something. She heard “10..9..8..7..” and she continued that quietly “6..5..”. Before she could count the next number, she heard a familiar voice said “4..3..2..1..Happy New Year babe” from behind. She looked back and gave that person the happiest smile in her life. “Happy New Year Daniel <3”. The two hugged each other under the light of New Year’s fireworks.
