She ended up being in an argument with Ruru. Maybe we can call it, the Blame War. The children kept blaming the other child for destroying the piece of plastic. They started with speaking and then switched to shouting. It became so bad that tears started coming out of Momo’s eyes. Ruru felt bad. She could see the disappointment in the look of Momo’s eyes and trust flowing away with the tears. BUT SHE CANNOT GO BACK. Her mother wouldn’t be happy about a lying baby. It was at that very second when everything had fallen apart, when Ruru reached her hand out and hit Momo on her left cheek. For the little girl, it was a slap that wiped all the good memories she had had with Ruru away and turned Ruru into just a stranger who just hit her and accused her for something she did not do. She raged. Momo started to hit back. She was angry, sad, and broken. Ruru hit her back with both her hands. The girls tried to increase their attack speed as fast as they could. They wanted to hit the other one hard and as many times as possible. “I hate you,” Momo shouted, “ You’re not my friend!” When Ruru heard what she just said, she just froze. She couldn’t believe that Momo did not consider her as a friend anymore. More importantly, she hated her. Momo stopped her attack a few seconds after Ruru’s. She was still mad though. “You done?” Both the girls turned around to the direction of the voice. It was Ruru’s mum holding a bucket of popcorn. “Let’s go home Ruru,” said the woman, “ And never play with this violent monster again!” The adult held Ruru’s hand and walked out to the car. The girls kept eye-contact the whole time Ruru was being taken away.
