Your only choice would be to get up and go to the curtain. As you stand, a voice plays.
’Welcome. Have we met?’
You start to speak but no words come out of your mouth.
As you’re walking, a wavering noise, strangely like the sound a bee makes, starts humming in your ear. You are confused about this until you reach a certain point.
The air in front of you is different than the rest. It looks like the waves of the sea, yet it’s still clear. You reach your hand through the air. It feels humid. After reaching your hand through, you know it is safe to pass.
When you step through, your whole body starts to tingle.
’Barrier passed’ the robotic voice says. How many barriers are there?
You realise you’re not that far from the curtains. As you passed the barrier, your steps sound louder, like they are banging on the floor even though you are walking normally.
You’re at the curtain. As you reach out to open them, you receive a severe electric shock, causing little scars on your arm.
’Do you really want to open them?’ The robotic voice asks. It’s the one thing you’re sure about.
You grab them and feel sick to the stomach. Maybe the voice is right
You close your eyes when you open the curtains. After taking a deep breathe, you decide you need to look.
Opening your eyes slowly.
You hear sizzling as you try to shriek in pain, when you open the curtains.. you see the void. You feel everything disappearing from sight every second, and you only see the void.
Then it all went black.
You feel nothing. You know nothing. Nothing matters anymore. You can’t control anything you do, someone or something will do it for you.
’Welcome. Have we met?’ You say in a robotic voice.
