I kept doing things I knew would upset Roman. I held Adrian's hand when I knew he was watching. So he would whisper things in Aniza's ear and make her laugh to make me mad. All day it continued like this and then he broke up with Aniza. Out of literally nowhere.
Paulina was sitting in a corner on the floor looking sad with Natalie there hugging her. Everytime I tried to ask what was wrong, she told me to go away. So I complied and sat with Alex instead. Her and Alex were about to be 1 year, on January 12th. Paulina wrote a note to Alex, and gave it to him. He was looking soooo sad and started crying a bit. When I asked what was wrong he glared at me and told me,
"You knew and you didn't tell me?!"
Here's the thing, I knew she was thinking about it. I didn't think she would actually do it. Alex loved her so much, more than almost any other girl he had been with. Alex was furious with Natalie and I and was a complete wreck over Paulina. I actually found out she was sad because I was with Adrian and she still had feelings for him.
I was actually quite happy with Adrian. He treated me good, talked to me often, gave amazing hugs, was smart, messed with me, when I was sad he'd rub my back or hug me and ask what's wrong. I was content with this newfound relationship.
Alex forgave me and Natalie I guess. He would bring it up sometimes to prove us wrong but at least we were back on speaking terms.

Academy Del Sol was holding a dance in January or December. I was really excited because I was going to go with Adrian. My nina was taking me to the dance and when she showed up I just got done curling my hair. I left the purple flowy dress I was going to wear at my house and I had to wear the black dress I didn't really like because I was getting ready at my Tia's house and my mom was gone somewhere.
Paulina started dating Roman. She says she asked me when she didn't. I like to say I didn't like Roman at the time but the tiniest of feelings were still there. She came to school the next day and tried acting completely normal towards me. I moved away from her when she got closer to me attempting to give me a hug. I glared deeply at her and told her,
"You're dating Roman?"
"Well, yeah- but you're with Adrian so I didn't think you would care or you liked Roman."
"I don't like Roman and I am happier with Adrian. It's just the fact that he's my ex and you are supposed to be my 'best friend'."
With that I walked away from her and never talked to her since. Alex, Natalie, and a few other people ignored her as well.
So I slipped on my flats, got the $5.00 admission, and got into the car. My nina looked at my dress and automatically said she didn't like it. I didn't want to explain why I was wearing it so I just nodded and shrugged it off. After all, I didn't like the dress on me at all either.
We talked and listened to music on our way there and I told her all about Adrian because I could trust her. I trusted her with a lot of things.
When we arrived, she let me leave my jacket in the car, so I slid off the seat onto the floor because I was really short so I had to jump a bit. Adrian was there waiting for me with Josh and he was dressed in a blue, black, and red plaid shirt, with dark blue jeans. His hair was combed the way it always was and he looked really nice. I sort of started hanging around Josh again and forgave him for what happened. Not forget, forgave.
We walked inside and paid the money. We stood in the hallway waiting for Shylize, Josh's girlfriend. Natalie, Alex, and Analise came out of the cafeteria where the actual party was and we stood there talking for some time. The song "Perfect" by Ed Sheeeran came on and Adrian took me to dance. He put his hands on my waist and mine around his neck. It was amazing, perfect. I looked to my right and saw Roman, dancing with Paulina with his hands on her waist. A small pang of jealousy shot through me, I instantly regretted feeling that about him and focused my attention back on Adrian. After the song, Adrian kissed me and it was rushed, and messy..but it was okay.
So here's the thing about Adrian's kisses. I loved them of course. He was my boyfriend. Im basically obligated to love his kisses. He wasn't a horrible kisser either, just messy. When he'd kiss me, sometimes he's miss and I get that. But when he got it right, he like- pressed his lips to mine hard. It was an odd feeling considering I was used to just Roman's kisses and Roman's weren't bad. He missed a few times and that's normal but his kisses were always soft, and sweet. I loved them the most by far but yeah.
And presently speaking, I've only kissed a few people. Roman is still my favorite by far.
