He let out a sigh as he walked across the shop, moping the floor. The coffee shops bell rang and he looked to the door.
And there she was, the girl that made him start working there, the girl that he wanted to meet so bad. The girl looked at him and turned back to the door.
”Wait! Please!” Zen Lock grabbed her arm, a little strongly though. She silently looked at him. “Did i do something? I really wanted to meet with you... but... you just keep running away”
”Zen Lock.. I-“ “Where do you know my name?” The girl froze while realizing what she had said. “Look. I cant explain anything. We can not talk! I dont want you to.. die....” Zen Lock was weirded out.
“I need to go” said the girl running away from him and going out he coffee shop. The rain started as she walked away from there.
=======
The next three days Zen Lock never saw the girl. Until the fourth day, she came and sat down to a corner. She ordered her favorite coffee. Zen Lock looked away.
Their first meeting was a complete mess but maybe it would be different this time... He walked over to her with the coffee she ordered and sat across her.
She stared for a bit and tried to stand up. Zen Lock stopped her. “Please, just explain” The girl took a deep breath. “Look. This world you are in, this world that you breathe, you eat, you live. Its fake. There is a machine that allows me to come to this universe. And i might have stole the machine.”
Zen Lock didnt talk and just listened.
”And now, they think that they can reach me if they can find and kill you. I dont know, really weird...” She stopped talking.
“Why? Why did you come here?” She stared at him. “Because... I just wanted to see you, my character, in person. I feel like a mom to you.” She giggled a little.
”But i thought i was in love with you?!” “Yea i am pretty right. But i am kinda your mom?” She took another deep breath. “You wont be seeing me again. Im never using the machine. I dont want you to get in trouble”
“But-“ “Just continue your fake life. Alright...” She smiled and walked away. He just stared as her ‘mom’ walked out the coffee shop.
Maybe she was just lying. Yea, the best was to think of it that way.
