Warning: a little gore and blood
It was back, I swore I deleted it yesterday, but it was there. I stared at my phone, eyes wide from shock. I decided I would call it, perhaps it would give me a clue why it was still there. I pressed on the contact and the call button. I was greeted with the noise of the phone trying to reach the number, when I put the phone up to my ear. The phone was picked up, but all I could hear was heavy breathing.

“H-hello.” I stuttered.

“Hello, why may I ask youare calling me.” The person greeted me on the other side. They had a scratchy voice that didn’t quite sound human. My breathing and heartbeat picked up faster.

“Sure, sure I understand,” They interrupted me. I quickly hung up my phone, not wanting to talk to them any longer. I glanced at my phone and saw the contact was now gone.

“What in-“ I muttered, but stopped when I heard a twig snap near me. I was currently sitting under a tree in my backyard. I didn’t know who it could be, which didn’t help my panic. I quickly stood up and looked around, trying to see where the sound came from. I didn’t see anything, so I dismissed it as an animal. I sighed and muttered about my overactive imagination.

I walked quickly back into my house and sat on the couch. I turned on the television to my favorite show, and got sucked into the show.

It was now pitch black outside and I was exhausted. I decided I would head to bed, as I walked towards my room. I grabbed a pair of pajamas, then got changed into them. I went into my bathroom, brushed my teeth, and relieved my bladder. I then went back into my room, and got under the blankets. I yawned as I snuggled into the covers. All of a sudden I heard heavy breathing, a lot like the same I heard on my phone earlier. I opened my eyes a little, trying to see what it was.

I was greeted by the sight of a man near me. He had dirty blond hair and the beginning of a beard starting to grow. His eyes were cat like and glowed a lime green color. I let out a bloodcurdling screech from the sight I saw. He covered my mouth with his dirt covered hand. “Sh,” he hushed me. I whimpered, afraid of what he was going to do. A sharp, pierced by pain exploded into existence near my stomach.

I looked down to see a knife stuck into me, near my stomach. The man pulled it out, just to stab it into my stomach area. I let out a scream against his hand. He continued to murder me, blood gushing out of my wounds. I slowly slipped into unconsciousness, my last sight being the man bringing the knife down towards me.
