As soon as we entered the forest, the chirps of birds (which I never heard before) and the wildlife in the trees entranced me. I walked further into the forest even though I hadn’t willed my legs to move. It was like the Forest controlled my mind, my muscles... I touched the unique texture of the bark of the trees and watched in awe as the multi-colored birds flew by, singing to each other. Something soft rubbed against my legs and I looked down to see a small lynx purring at me. I smiled.

It is unknown how the forest holds magic; however, it is believed to pulse through the trees. Most forests that have been polluted by humans have had their magic driven out from the chemicals. The Enchanted Forest of the Isles is protected, like the rest of the Isles, with a magical air bubble. No pollution can get in and the clean air can’t get out, else it would drive the humans toward us and they would destroy the Isles, which is one of the last protected sites of the Magi.
The plants that grow in the Enchanted Forest of the Isles are very colorful and rare. There is, for instance, the rare Rainbow Rose, whose nectar has healing properties and is often used in healing potions. There is the Ivy plant, which causes some humans skin irritations, but on elves, it heals most poisons. Some types of fern plants repel evil and bad luck.
The trees are thought to hold the deep magic of the Enchanted Forest. They have been alive since the very discovery of the Isles, where they were found as saplings growing. The Elder Elves gave the trees some of their magic, and that magic is believed to still rest in the trees.
Enchanted Lynxes are very rare, even in Magi safe-places. It is even rarer for a Lynx to approach a Magi. Usually, when a Lynx approaches a Magi, it means that the Lynx wants to Partner. The majority of Lynxes Partner with elves, but they Partner with whoever they want.
