After her boyfriend, Daniel, disappears mysteriously, Adia Collins' life goes spiralling down in full force. It even aggravates when the police closes the case. In other words, giving up on her only hope and future. 

After a year of having joined the walking dead, Adia gets a place at a community college to make up for the year, which was supposed to be her Senior year, that she lost to grief. For schools sake, she is put in the care of outgoing and down-to-earth guy, Toby Jones. 

At first Adia doesn't warm up easily to him at all. As if to anyone rather. But her heart like stone makes Toby more intrigued to her. And when she learns he has a past similar to hers, if not worse, she finally lets him in.

But the question is: Was there hope for Daniel's return. And if he does, what would happen to her and Toby?
