Prologue
Thousands of years ago, the first six children who were gifted with strange abilities were born. Some said they were born to protect the world, other said they were born to rule and empowered it. In the end nobody knew why these children were created with powers. They were simply special and different from everyone else.
Four of these children were gifted with the elemental power of fire, water, air, and earth, while the last two received the power of light, and darkness.
It was believed that they were the ones who would protect the world from war and chaos and create an everlasting peace and balance around the world.
They each travelled the world in search for a place that they felt they belonged to. Born with knowledge and power, they believed somewhere in the world a place was designed and made just for them. So, they went and searched.
The four corners of the world were taken by four of the elemental’s children. The hottest land on earth, full of volcanoes and was mostly consist of sunny days were taken over by the child of fire. She named it the kingdom Ignixtrix, the land of fire. The wettest land in the world, filled with rivers and rains were taken over by the child of water. He named it Aquarukin, the land of water. The highest mountain the world, always blowing with winds and closest to the sky was found by the child of air. She named it Caelidux, the land of air. The rockiest place fill with earth and rocks were discovered by the child of earth. He named it Terrakipness, the land of earth.
Although the elemental children easily found their place in the world, the last two struggled to find a place.
She, who was the child of darkness, and he, who was the child of light, met with each other and decided it was best to travel together to find their home. They soon fall in love along their journey. By the time they discovered the middle land of them all, a place where the sun shone the brightest and the moon rose the highest, they both build their kingdom. They called it Icratrolux, the kingdom of light and darkness. Their home.
Although for hundreds of years, the kingdom lived among each other in peace, it did not last long. Soon, a king was born to rule Icratrolux but lost to the darkness he was given with, he turned evil and greedy. King Alphonse took Queen Melody’s power, the power of light, for himself and ended up killing her in the process. He created dark magic from the combinations of these powers, forbidden and taboo for all to use. Selfish, he tried to take over the world leaving the four elemental kingdoms no choice but to unite and seal him away to deepest depth of the earth.
Peace was restored. But by sealing away the king and without a queen, there was no rulers to rule over Icratrolux. The kingdom soon collapsed, and the people migrated to another kingdom unable to live in their own kingdom. The power also soon lost as the people now in another land, they were unable to manipulate light and darkness any longer.
