I guess today is my day, so I went on to the rooftop. Just as I was about to take my shoes off, I saw a girl with braided hair, already stepped out of the fence. Despite myself, I went and screamed, “Hey! Don’t do it, please!”
When those words came out of my mouths, I was shocked. I couldn’t believe I did really tell her to stop, because I couldn’t care less either way. To be honest, I was somewhat pissed. This girl made me miss this great opportunity. I sat down on the cold floor, leaned on the fence.
“Hey, what’s bothering you? Is there anything I can help?”
“You’ve probably heard it all before… It’s already an old story…”
She told me her woes, that she thought her boyfriend may be the one who could go into marriage with, or maybe at least they could be together for a few more years. But he told her “I’m done with you! Your sad faces always make me feel annoyed and dealing with you is so sickening. It is too tiring to take care of you and my job at the same time!”
“For god’s sake please! Are you serious? Just because of some stupid reasons you came up here before me?”, I thought. The girl looked really sad, that I didn’t mean to say anything harsh to her, but somehow I just shouted, “Are you upset just because you couldn’t have what you wanted? You’re lucky that you’ve never got robbed anything!”
I felt regret as soon as those words burst out from my mouth, but then I saw she stood up and smiled, “I’m feeling better now, thank you for listening!” The girl with braided hair then disappeared, left me alone at the rooftop.
