I just widen my eyes and blink multiple times at what he just said. "Cutie?" I'm not even cute. And plus I have a lot of studies. I need to catch up on the classes I missed because of him. I have to be honest to him, I can't be a liar to all my friends. I roll my eyes and answer him. "I have to catch up on the classes I skipped this moring Minho. But we can do it another time." I give him a slight smile. I see him look down and then smirk. Oh no, he has an idea. I can see it in his eyes.
"Come on. Y/n, ..Bang Y/n!" He scoots over a little bit closer to me, "I know you don't do shit all day but eat and bins watch shows like every other girl." mm He is right about that. But I don't want to get scolded by Chan! I look up at him and he looks deep in my eyes, "Why can't you just be a little bad for once?" He grabs my hands and brings my face closer to his, "At least... for me?"
I breath in and exhale. I looks down and start to fidget with my fingers. How can someone make you feel like this? Like you want to do something but you know you'll get punished. And it keeps beating me up inside. As Chan used to tell me, Sometimes there's times when bad things happen and you can't do anything about it, So that's when you got to take risks. I stop fidgeting with my hands and look up at him. "Let's do it Bundle boy." He just laughs at my response and stands up while taking out his hand and facing towards me.
"Let's go to our little adventure." He says with his charming smile. I smile back at him and we head to his car. To my surprise, it wasn't a busted up car. It really looked like it was in good shape. It was a 1970 dodge charger. Yes I know my cars very very well. I smile to myself while getting inside the passenger seat.
"You like?" I nod my head while smiling and putting my bag in the backseat. "Yeah, my dad wanted one of these... but couldn't afford so I bought one. Took his dream car." He starts the car and starts pulling out of the parking lot. "But now he's dead, whelp that sucks don't it?" He says smiling but the look in his eyes says that he's still sad. I want to help him but... ah He's a guy he doesn't like to talk personal things. I'll just let him tell me wen he feels like it.
"So where to my imaginary boyfriend?" He looks at me then back at the road while smiling.
"Anywhere you want to go, my imaginary girlfriend." We both laugh while enjoying the music and breeze. It seems like we've known each other for so long. Yet we don't care. We just enjoy the nice breeze of the Seattle summer air.
"So are we just going to drive around?" It's been at least an hour and we pulled over to a gas station to stretch and things. I'm changing in the boys/girls restroom while Minho's outside getting his hair ready. After some time I get out and see him all dressed up with a red checkered flannel, a white shirt, and ripped jeans. I smile at him and wash my hands. I see him look at me threw the mirror. And as soon as I'm done I go inside the store and grab some snacks for my fat ass.
"don't get too much, You don't want to get full this early babe." He says while grabbing a bottle of alcohol. Yes we've been pretending to be a couple for at least two hours. But no one knows, we've left far from Seattle. I think were in a town called La Conner. I don't know to be honest. I just hope he doesn't drink that alcohol while driving. Yes I know he's of age to drink, but still. I'm scared.
"You better not do anything bad with that." I look at him up and down with a serious face.
"Understood." He says while looking at me up and down while licking his lips. Um I'm just going to pretend I didn't see that. He was walking backwards looking at me and didn't see where he was going and tripped on a shelf with magazines. I try my hardest not to laugh but I couldn't hold it in. I busted out laughing while he was picking up the magazines. "You can stop laughing now." He crosses his arms looking at me with a strict face.
"I'm sorry I.." I say laughing. "That was Hilarious."
"If you don't stop laughing I'll kiss you." That makes me stop laughing. I swallow my saliva and get up from the floor.
"W-what did you say?" I look up at him.
He just smiles and walks closer to me while bringing my chin up. "Nothing, hurry or we'll come home late than I wanted." So he's planning on spending the whole night with me? It's like the teenage dream I've always wanted. I take his hand off me and walk to the cashier so He can pay.
"Will that be all?" The cashier says while looking at me. I feel uncomfortable so I just step back a little and respond.
"Uh yes but my boyfriends going to pay." I give him a slight smile then look down.
"I can give you what you want." I don't know what he means so I look up at him concerned.
"What do you mean?"
"That body of yours, I can make it feel good." He says biting his lips. "Your boyfriend deserves better. Because he's been fucking the ugliest piece of shit ever." He laughs while scanning the items. That just leaves me breathless. Did he just body shame me? I look at his facial features to remember what he looks like. Then I see minho come and give his items to the cashier. He looks at me and notices that something's wrong.
"Hey is everything okay?" I shake my head yes while starring at the cashier. He notices again and does the last thing I expect from him. "Hey bastard! Did you do something to her?!" He says grabbing his collar.
"Hey! Hey! Lee Know Put him down right now!" He looks at me then at him.
"Not until he tells me what he did to you." The guy just laughs.
"I just said what she needed to hear." He looks at me and then him. "She'll never satisfy any man with that body of hers-
The cashier gets cut off by Minho punching him right in the noseIdon. "Min! let's go! Now!" I pull him off of the other dude and grab our things then head to the car.
"What are you doing?!"
"Saving your ass before you get arrested!"
"Oh yeah saving my ass! I saved yours! HE just body shamed you and you did shit!"
"And If you care?! Your not even my real boyfriend! It was just a Lie!"
He brings my face closer and kisses me right on the lips. The kiss lasted about 3 minutes. Until he broke it. "Does that prove anything?! That moment I saw you looking threw the car window." He laughs a little bit, "I fell in love with you Bang Y/n, and I know you did too." That sentence left be breathless. He ..Loves... me. I smile at him while my eyes get teary.
"I.. I..." I breath in and then exhale. "I need to get home." He looks at my facial features and then laughs.
"Whatever." He turns on the car and pulls out of the parking lot.
"A-are you mad at me?"
He looks at me then back at the road while smiling. "No... not at all."
He's mad at me. He just confessed his love for me but now... I don't know what he feels. I don't know what to say that's why I said I need to go home. I need to go home to think, to think things out. I have a lot on my plate today.
As soon as I got home, as I expected Chan scolded me because I came home late. I went upstairs to my room to what I said I was going to do. ...Think. I decided to right in my journal. Yes a journal. Woojin always told me "No It's a diary." No, no actually it's my personal journal. So I decided to write my emotions out and what happened today.
Dumb but charming. He's all I've ever wanted in a guy. Yet, he's way more different then I expected him to be. The guy I thought that was going to be "The one" was diffidently not. He cheated and was a player. He had a mask on the whole time he was with me. He lied. Yes I'm talking about him again. But that's not the reason I'm writing again. Someone, surprisingly changed me. He made me feel a feeling, that I've never felt before. He stole my first kiss. Was actually a good one to be honest. He confessed his love for me. Yes on the first day we met, but he insisted it was love at first sight. But was it? Love at first sight? Nah, that saying was told to me when I was a kid. The person that told me about it, said "Love at first sight is a myth. Don't believe in it or It'll break you and your life." But now the actual myth is that saying. Love at first sight doesn't break down your life. It's exiting and fun. Because you can spend time and life with that person.
As I was writing a bang on my window was heard. What the hell? I check the time and it's 12:22 am. Who the hell is doing this at 12 in the moring? I move the curtains to see the one and only Lee know. Wow right when I was writing about him he comes to my presence. What doe she want? I thought I got him mad. I open the window and cross my arms. "What's up?"
"I need to tell you something."
I put my lips into a pucker waiting for him to tell me. "So are you going to tell me or no?"
"Will you be my fake girlfriend?"
What the hell? He crossed the street all the way for this? I thought that was all he was going to say but before I could respond he kept on talking.
"Will you let me take you on fake dates?" "Will you let me come inside your house and introduce me to your brother as your fake everything?"
I cut him off before he can continue. "What are you saying?"
"I know you and me won't work out just yet. You won't take me that easily so let's pretend for everyone. So no one can take you nor me because We'll pretend to be a couple but when you finally accept me we'll actually be together and won't have to lie Y/n."
I- do I want a relationship this soon? We just met. Love at first sight? That's what happened with me and Changbin. But I chose what that person told me and thought that love at first sight was a myth. but with him,... it just seems real. Should I? He said he'll wait for my answer, wait for me for when I want to be with him for real. Not a lie. Then a voice came inside my head.
Sometimes there's times when bad things happen and you can't do anything about it, So that's when you got to take risks.
I got to take risks. I take a deep breath and close the window then go downstairs. Then I see bang Chan and Woojin drinking. All I have to do is go outside without them seeing me. Chan and Woojin get really mean and nosy when there drunk. I open the door and then I hear someone talk.
"Where are you going?"
"Shit" I whisper under my breath. "Hey chan."
"Where are you going at this time? Your grounded."
I lick my suddenly dry lips and look at him in the eyes. "I need some fresh air." He nods and I go outside to meet minho.
"Look who finally came out."
I move my hair out of my face and put my hands inside my pockets. "Let's do it." He blinks a couple times.
"wait, really?" I nod yes. Then the next thing that happens is he grabs my waist while kissing me. It only took about 5 seconds for him to do that. Then we both here a voice that makes us flinch.
"WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?! YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE GOING TO GET SOME FRESH AIR! NOW I SEE YOU WITH THE NEIGHBOR'S SON?!"
"Chan let me explain."
"No no no! I've seen enough! Your going to be grounded for 2 months. Whenever school's done you come back straight to the house! I told you he was bad news yet you disobeyed me!"
"You know your starting to sound like dad."
He pauses for a bit. Then I turn around to see Minho nervous. And woojin just watching like a TV drama.
"don't talk about dad Y/n, you know what he did to you and I wouldn't do anything to you!"
"You wouldn't do anything to me?! Yeah when your drunk you do the same things he did to me!" tears start to come down my face. I tried to hide it so many times but I couldn't anymore. It hurts seeing my own brother doing the same exact things to me as my dad used to do to me as a kid.
"Get inside! now! I don't want you talking to any guys anymore understand?!"
"Bang Chan, I'm asking you to please leave her alone."
Chan looks at minho pissed. Oh god, don't tell me there going to fight. I get inside and go to my room. I can here them fighting from outside. It hurts, even if I can't see I can hear and it really hurts. Minho is really getting beat up by chan. I'll just cry myself to sleep. And as soon as I know it, I cried myself to sleep.
