Chapter 1
Alex's POV:
I wake up, shaking, remembering what had happened yesterday. My parents are the worst. They couldn't care for me even if I had all the money in the world. I hated this house. It's just too depressing, coming back from school, seeing the neighbors' kids come home from school, the parents greeting them as the walk in, asking them how their day was. My parents' greetings were either a welcome home beating to the face, or nothing at all. School wasn't any better either. Everytime I did something the principal didn't like, he calls up my parents. He is the worst person to ever be at a school. The cuts are starting to hurt again. It's not like they never do though, just they hurt more than usual. Gently opening my drawer, getting out my white t-shirt, my hoodie, some jeans, and my arm covering gloves. Can't spill the secret out to anyone. But, part of me feels like I want someone to find out. So they know what I've been through. The people at my school barely notice I'm here, they wouldn't care if I was sitting on the rim of the fence on the school roof, waiting for the perfect moment to just, fall. I smiled at the thought. Tomorrow is the day I move to a new school though. No stupid principal to tattle, I still will probably not get much attention though. I'm a new person no one cares for them. Especially me. I quietly sneak out of my room and out the door to not wake my parents. But that damn balcony.. "ALEX! WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING?!" My mom. She heard the front door close, looking out of the balcony on the second floor. I didn't want to talk back, but my big mouth just had to open. "I'm going to school dummy where else?" I meant to say that in my head.
I. Was. Screwed.
