Clara had always been alone and quiet but she liked it that way. Her parents had always said 'she was safer by herself'. Originally she didn't like being alone but it grew on her after the "incident". One thing no one knew except Clara and her parents was Clara had telepathy. She couldn't read minds or anything but she could move things with her mind pretty easily and have conversations with people telepathically, but she hadn't done that to anyone but her parents. The drawback of her power was she was mute. So the only way she could talk was telepathic. Her Parents had nothing like that. Clara was walking to school when she saw a girl. The girl had golden-brown skin with patches of pale skin on it. Her hair was a deep brown really curly down to her shoulders, and she wore a pair of ripped black skinny jeans with a white band T-shirt as well as a leather jacket. She noticed Clara looking at her and waved, Clara waved back clearly just being polite but the girl seemed to think that was an invitation to come over. As she walked over Clara devised a plan she would just use sign to talk back since that was the only way she could and that would hopefully fluster the girl and she would leave. Once she got over she waved once again "Hi my names Allison" she said happily 'I'm Clara' she responded in sign "Nice to meet you Clara" she responded easily. Her jaw dropped (mentally of course) 'how did she know sign? dangit my plan.' Allison just smiled like she won the lottery "Today's my first day at Springfield high". Clara didn't know how to say 'your gonna get eaten alive' in a nice way so she responded 'I go there. "I know" Clara ticked her head to the side "Oh sorry that sounds stocker-ish I saw your books". Clara couldn't take it anymore she liked having someone to talk to but her parents would be mad and she didn't know how to explain why Allison was an expectation to her "Always alone rule" 'hey I have to go I have to run back home to grab something and you don't wanna be late on your first day'. Allison looked confused than a little disappointed "look I get it if you don't wanna talk to me but don't lie about it". Clara blushed in embarrassment 'I'm just not one you wanna be seen with at school with'. Allison smiled "Well I'm ready to be seen with you if you can handle me". Clara thought for a second 'you know what screw it' she thought and nodded 'let's do this'.
