The car pulls out into the street with several other cop cars surrounding it. They must really do think I killed my own mother. How insane would I have to be to not care for another human life? The car makes an abrupt stop. I look out the window and I see a tall building with a helicopter on top. I read the distant text on the side of the building: "Ivry hospital" The small words underneath were almost impossible to see for this far away. 288Please respect copyright.PENANAUxUlgYu6xy
The officer tells me to get out of the car and follow him once again. I do as I am told. As we walk, a couple more officers surrounded me. We continue walking into the building and go on the nearest elevator. I watch and listen as the numbers on the wall lit up bright green in ascending order and make a soft dinging noise. We walk some more until we finally reach an empty room with no one but a doctor. 288Please respect copyright.PENANAN8UyRbjnps
"Hello," the doctor says, "take a seat". Everything seems very weird, almost like it was all pre-rehearsed. The doctor immediately starts checking my head for visible damage. "Ella seems to be okay." The officers escort me out of the room and back to the car. Nothing felt real, like a prank gone horribly wrong. I start to get curious. "How did the doctor know he was supposed to check for head damage? How did he know my name?" The officer looks at me through the rear view mirror. "We called him before hand so he would know we were coming.
