Often times we forget that there is hope for tomorrow, especially when the whole world is in a middle of a crisis like the one we are all facing. The pandemic racking havoc all around the world. It is only fair that if we are not able to achieve the goal of being where we hope to be, at least we should be granted to opportunities to be there in our imagination even for a few seconds. Having twisted and turned trying to figure out what my safe haven would be , nothing came to mind more than being at La Sapienza University in Rome and the thoughts of Rome itself. There is nothing that hits home like being in the world of books and there is no place that smells like books more than La Sapienza. The thought of being in Rome is a heavenly thought i would never trade for anything. Think of the walks down the paths catching a glimpse of the Colosseum and many other structural buildings of great historical importance. Nothing tells of history more than the collapsed and cracked walls of the Colosseum telling stories of great victory, pain and a time of merry. The 1900 years old structure holding on to many memories whilst keeping them hidden in its old walls. It comes as no surprise that such a place although highly mysterious still makes my blood rush.
An early morning straw down the corridors of the old architectural buildings at La Sapienza telling tales of times that have long passed. The old buildings containing more knowledge than one can ever imagine. The medical buildings of the La Sapienza bring vast knowledge from a time before us. Holding the scalpel and learning about the human anatomy says more on a good and beautiful place than any other. There is no other place i would rather be than where i can learn on how i can bring change. Heal the world even if it is just a little and bring peace to the hears of men. Although i can never heal the world completely, being where i can try say a lot on who i am as an individual.
