Did you know that 'Man' is a social being?
I do not know why the phrase does not include women. Perhaps it is the persistent sexism that existed at those times. That tenacity still exists.
The fucked up notion that a man evolved due to the social interactions he had made. And thus, society is what lets him grow, approve his existence and guarantee his welfare. That has now become where he could not exist without it, where he fears it, where he struggles for its acceptance.
This questions others view of society, how they look up to it. The naked truth is that it plays with people to sustain itself when it has become obsolete. The primates required society to average out decisions that work for everyone.
Today, it is just a front for people to divide some from themselves.
You are ugly, You are poor, You are a woman, You are black, You are strange, You are untouchable, You are diseased, You are mere. And thus, Divide, Divide, Divide. Walls Rise, Distance builds.
Abandon the ones that require attention. And it is growth, It is good, As defined by society.
The consciousness of that there exists something that sees you, judges you, laugh at you is ingested even into a child's brain.
We had a yearbook photo shoot today. The apes in my class had all dressed "well". Makeup on, getting phrases that have been around the internet for their quotes, borrowed clothes, everything's a mirage.
Hiding scars behind the makeup they put on or getting some after getting home by an abusive father or a junky mother. Torn hearts, pockets, under the blazers or jackets they put on. Stuff cannot get unreal than that.
And someday, the yearbook releases, then they bring it home to make fun of someone who looks odd. They laugh and laugh and laugh until their stomach bursts when they are 63. And they are buried and kept in a fine velvet coffin which stinks. 4 days past, they are rotten, bugs are in their mouth laughing.
Until they die, they never look at themselves. I guess it is because it is easier to gag about someone than to disintegrate you and look at what is wrong.
Society is full of such individuals. They hate so much of themselves that they form an ideal construct of how they should be, dress, behave. Averaging what each of these individuals thinks defines the rule that society sets. Yet they are afraid of someone's acceptance when it is his self's acceptance that they need.
When they were looking into theirs mirrors today, fixing their ties, hair, they were reaching that idealism which no one could live. It is the burden that none asks to carry, yet they bear it until they die.
Morning, in the mirror, people reflected an ape's astonishment when it saw itself in water for the first time. So unevolved, disgusting. Staring at the water. Instead of having a bath.
Whilst I stood there, I saw a stranger in myself. He is here when I write each of these letters, sometimes questioning me whether I am real?
Or is it just me. That I hate society so much that I want to become that stranger? In fear that no one could accept me? The stranger who has horrible things to say and do.

Good night, Diary.
