I make my way back to my room. My room is nothing special, it has the necessity; a bed, a desk, a closet, and a bathroom. it's not like I spend much time there besides when I'm sleeping. I packed everything I could need; all my tactical gear, weapons, a week's worth of clothes, toiletries, and a book Aleksander gave me. I'm hoping this job doesn't take me long, but knowing my luck it will. I zip the suitcase and grab the file. I make my way outside to where there is a car waiting for me. I put the suitcase in the trunk and got into the back seat.
“Hello, Ms.Cirillo. Where to?” The driver asks.
“Please call me Thana, there is no need for formalities. I'm guessing there's a jet waiting at the airport.”
“Of course Thana.” As we head towards the airport I decide it's probably a good idea to read the file. It's nothing too shocking, it's just like Aleksander said a bunch of higher-ups who got bored and decided to poke around. All of them should be particularly easy to take out, only one name on the list stands out Celeste De Santis. I have no clue why her name sounds so familiar. I'm guessing I've just read about her in some files. I try to continue reading the file but my mind just keeps going back to that damned name, how do I know her? I'm not going to be able to focus until I figure out how I know her. I pull out my phone and call Cress. Cress is the only person I get along with. They are Aleksander's child and I've always seen them as a sibling.
“Hello, Thana. What can I do for you today?”Cress asks cheerfully.
“Hello, Cress. I need you to search for a family called the De Santis.” I respond, I hear the clacks of keys on the other side.
“Well there isn't much but there is a prominent family there with a lot of government sway. The parents were killed a little over 10 years ago, by the looks of it someone here did it. The hire was off the books so I can't tell who did it or who hired them but their kid Celeste is now working for the AISE. I'm guessing she wants to take down who killed her parents.”
“I agree with you she definitely will want to kill whoever killed her parents. Do you have an exact date for when they were killed?”
“Yeah give me a second,” I hear her shuffling around on the other side. “December 29th.”
“Well, I know who killed them.”
“Who did it?” They sound far too excited for us to be talking about death.

“Well, that's not that surprising. Do you remember how it was done? Any details?”

“Yes I do know that but the kill isn't important. At least not anymore.”
“Fine be that way. Make sure to call me once you finish. I want the details fresh!”

“Bye, Thana.” They are always like this since Aleksander refuses to send them on any jobs they get all the details from me. I don't mind it's fun watching them get excited over something like killing someone. Cress gets all the details about the jobs and puts them down on the records even if the person hiring us says not to.
I don't remember there being a child when I killed the parents, but I might have been too worried about fucking up to pay attention to who was there that day. I'm too lost in my thoughts to realize we made it to the airport. “Thana. We are here.” The driver says.
“Thank you,” I responded as I got out of the car. I grab my bag and head to the plane. I grab the book out of the bag and hand it to the worker and board the plane. I forgot how nice this plane is. It can fit at least 20 people for when we have big jobs or just for trips. Two seats are facing each other with a table in the middle. The seats are light brown leather and can recline back. I take a seat in the middle of the cabin and pull the file out. As the plane starts taking off I open the file and start reading from where I left off.
For being government officials they have awful security. This job should be easy, they all have fairly good training but none of them stand out. Igor would fit in wonderfully there. They all come from noble families and think that they are the best of the best when truly they are all mediocre at best. It seems as if none of them try and are just stuck-up privileged assholes. They have to be some distant relatives of Igors because they are remarkably similar. The job is fairly straightforward so it should take me a week max. That's also including if some of them have better training than the file says. As I go to put the file away something catches my eye. Written on the back of the file is “When you see this, call me immediately.” I grab my phone and call Aleksander.
“Well, I'm guessing you saw my message.” He says.
“Yes, what is this about?”
“Whilst you are working on this job there is another one I need you to work on also.” He pauses for a second before continuing. “There is an organization in America trying to take us down along with countless other organizations. The Italian government is another one of their targets. I need you to find out what they know about them. After you take the people in the AISE out you will go to America and complete this job.”

“No one is sure and that's the problem I hate not being sure.”
“Okay. I'm guessing I can't tell anyone about this?”
“No one. Not even Cress can know about this.”
“Alright.”
“Good luck Thana.” He says before he hangs up, this isn't going to be a short job. Whenever the Americans get involved it always turns into a big deal. I'm not sure what the fuck goes on in America and I'm not sure I want to because whenever I hear about them it's never good. I lean back in my chair and stare at the ceiling. I fall asleep thinking about how I'm going to take down an organization that can take down whole governments.
