If you would like to be a part of the staff here, please fill out a short application form. Here is an example template. While I do not judge you by level of schooling, seeing as I am leaving middle school, I'd like to see that you have decent writing skills. I do have the right to turn you down or accept you as I see fit. Also, please keep your applications neat and orderly.

Thank you for joining and responding.

Your Duty Preferences are restating what belongs on your Writing Strengths; consider fixing it, as your Duty Preferences refers to what you'd rather and rather not do in your position, such as if you're okay with tutoring or not. Please edit and resubmit your application using a double-spaced format between each section. See my example above. Once you make the changes and resubmit, you will officially become a Professor!

I read your selected works and found them up to par. While there were some punctuation mistakes here and there, your stories were very good in terms of pov, plot development, and spelling. Keep up the great work!

Sorry if I came across as dictator-ish; I tend to be that way when it comes to other's writing and being an admin for things. Plus, I usually find mistakes in my own writing, a lot. . . AFTER it's already visible for all to see, lol!

*Sheepishly* Do you know if it's possible to bump members up to contributor or admin status?

@Pencil Melody, no need to apologize, you show great leadership skills, something plenty lack. And yes, I believe it is possible. On the web you can go into a society and under the section of members there is a key you can click to grand admin status if I recall correctly

Other: I am, as my username says a mother and widow. I've taken in teens off the street, and adopted beside my own children. I'm a Christian woman, but I will respect whatever your religious beliefs are, only asking that you grant me the same respect. I won't give my age, but my oldest child is 20, so I'll let you use your imagination there. I hope to be able to offer assistance as well as gain assistance.

Thank you for applying. Your application was very neat, and your strengths were as you said. While you have room for improvement, you are not making any horrible mistakes. I am also a Christian, but that does not play as a deciding factors as that would be an unfair and biased view. I am happy to say that your application is accepted. Congratulation!

Dear Anna,

Thank you for applying. There were various mistakes in some of your writing, but none were awful. Even as a teacher, one continues to learn much. It is simply part of life.

You will find that you can fulfill other roles as a part of the staff here. Once you comfortable with doing the things you signed up to do, you can branch out. My only hope is for one who could rise up and help this group become a haven for flourishing authors. It is obvious that I haven't been able to do much in this regard. Glaringly obvious.

Anyway, your application is accepted. By the way, "some other things" made me laugh, lol.
