Of course, there is Duolingo, which is a free (although there are premium services) way to learn many languages, including French, Japanese, German, Spanish, and even more of the most popular and beautiful languages.

There is also Memrise, which is similar to Duolingo, however I prefer Memrise, Yes, they have an app, and of course it is free with premium features (although not necessary).

Linguti.com is a site that I discovered recently that is AMAZING for learning new languages. It has a simple, easy to understand interface, and although focuses on Asian languages, does have more to offer.

The Pod101 company has a free site (with premium features) for most languages AND have a Youtube channel. However the Youtube channel for each language are chock full of learning whatever language you want, joining the site (again, for free) gives you access to podcasts you can listen to on the go through the "Inovative Language Learning" app (which is their app). To find the site/youtube channel simply look up "(desired language)Pod101".

Ah! Thank you so much! I often put the settings to my stories in other countries which is fun but I lack solid knowledge of culture and languages! (especially when I put sentences in my stories in other language)

for the German language, I've find LGWA (Learn German With Ania) to be particularly useful, though it might not be your cuppa tea, because Ania's positivite attitude might put you off.

They've got an app (with some practises based on what Ania have taught you), but ultimately she's on YouTube!

Does anyone know much about Egyptian culture? It's the setting to my short story for the Forgotten Diety contest and am just wondering if I royally screwed anything up

The story is called Never Too Late for the old Forgotten Diety contest. I was hoping my scenery wasn't out of place for modern Egypt. As well as popular modern clothing. And is there a special name for places where you can practice Tahtib? Or would there be classes you could take at a gym perhaps? And I was wondering if anyone has ever had koshari or molokhia. I've never had them before so don't really know how to explain them. :)

hhhhhhh okay! I will ask my friend, but as I think Tahtib is more common in Upper Egypt they are known as 'Ṣaʿīd' = الصعيد, they walk holding those sticks, they are really closed and like their traditions, there is a place in my country where they start this as a sport in the woods, parks , it's really cool when I saw them fighting so fast . for the food: koshari I have seen how they make it but never taste it, for the molokhia I have Ewwww we have it here too it's like you are eating Henna I swear I hate (mom love it) it's green liquid some add meat to it and smell and taste like Henna (the one you do for tattoos) . if you need help tell me
