SOUL is about a young man named Oscar Treadway, who loses his younger sister to pneumonia. They had been living off very little money in a small town called Grudtsburg, somewhere in England. The year is not specified. He tries to find ways to feel closer to her, but nothing works until he meets a softspoken religious man at the bar who invites him for the night at his camp. Oscar feels he is equal for once and loves the amount of attention he is gifted. As time progresses, he slowly falls into their customs, becoming one of them.
