The Story so Far:1942Please respect copyright.PENANAZXMaDkGDeT
It’s nearly 7pm, somewhere near junction 13 of the M1 motorway. The snow has been falling rapidly for hours. The windscreen is blurred by flakes and everyone has stopped. The traffic is going nowhere. You look around and see other people in their cars and lorries. It’s going to be a long, cold night.
The Book by Everyone is a story about lots of snow (!) and everyone working together. The story so far:
- - Freddie’s on a motorbike and freezing.
- John, some students and Freddie have seen ‘something’ move in a slightly open car boot.
- Freddie’s invited to join a driver in his car. The guy with ‘the boot’…he’s assured the scraping noise is ‘just the brakes’.1942Please respect copyright.PENANAPBvxXjnEPS
- The boot of the car continues to draw a crowd. What is in there? Is Freddie safe?
- Further along the queue of cars, a 10 year old called Alex is continually flashing a hand written sign ‘Help me’. His Mum is having a baby in the car!
- Several people have seen the sign including a woman familiar to the boy and a guy called Logan offers to accompany her.
- Logan has done something bad. But he’s a pro. He knows he needs to appear the good guy to not be suspected. What has Logan done? Is it something to do with the guy with the boot? Will he be found out?
- Also on the M1: someone is having a baby; an elderly couple are left with no heating; a moped rider tries to dodge the advances of a lady who offers him shelter; a famous pie maker is stuck in the traffic; a dog and his owner are in close quarters after a rich dinner; some students play the sticker game to pass the time.
Continue the story of this snowy night in 100 words. Happy writing!
