K sat in a tree listening to the Boggarts and Brownies below. They were complaining about the queens latest hobby, taking treasures from fairy kind in the forests. He wasn't interested, the human queen was no threat to the things he owned. But listening to the minions below plan to ambush the queen was amusing. They were going to raid her picnic party on the green tomorrow, where she would showcase the treasures. Those little devils were making plans that included him. The plan involved him shape shifting them, him leading them to the party, him imprisoning the queen and her guards, and him getting them out of there.
"For the record I will not be assisting you annoy the queen."
"But our treasures..."
"You can make a new plan that does not include my help."
"What about your treasures?"
"My treasures are safe."
"Even the moon pearl you left soaking in the crystal pool?"
K looked down at the Brownie that spoke. Not wanting to be wrong, he jumped down from the tree and rushed through the forest to the crystal pool. There was the moon pearl soaking in the center of the....An illusion. There is only one competent caster in the queens army, Paladin. K marched back to the Boggarts and Brownies and took control of the planning.
"Alright you minions listen up. The queen needs to be taught another lesson. We will attend her picnic tomorrow."
The Boggarts and Brownies jumped up and down in celebration.
" Quiet you lot! Attending the picnic does not mean we get our treasures back. You will do exactly as I say or you won't get your treasures back."
The next day the queen held her picnic on the green, all the lords and ladies in the kingdom attended. The treasures of the forest inhabitants were on display in glass cases for all to admire. At noon lunch was served, unbeknownst to the queen and her guests the servers were K and his band of minions. He gave the Boggarts a sleeping potion to put in the soup. Now they needed to wait. Everyone drank the soup and were fine.
"Hmmm, perhaps the dose was not strong enough."
The next dish served was roast lamb, he gave the Boggarts a bigger dosage to put in the meal. Again everyone ate the dish and were fine. Perhaps it was Paladin, he was standing guard near the kitchen. K would have to go to the kitchen and administer the potion to the dish himself. But when he got to the kitchen, the cooks and guards were all asleep. He found the Boggarts preparing the next dish. The bafoons were taking out the picnic portions then putting the potion in the left overs of the pot.
He had no potions left. Paladin was outside the kitchen, he would need to distract him. K picked up a Brownie.
"Don't think I don't know you gave the queen my pearl in exchange for your treasure. You will distract Paladin."
He turned the Brownie into a damsel and sent it out the kitchen to Paladin. The Brownie would take Paladin to the town while K took back the treasures.
As soon as Paladin left with the now transformed Brownie, K darted from the kitchen. He pulled the twig from his belt and swung it as he chanted the statue spell. The guests reeled in shock when they saw him running towards them with magic swirling over his head. The queen tried to call for Paladin, but it was too late, she was frozen, and unable to move.
K walked over to the queen and hit her on the head with the twig.
"You took some things that weren't yours, your majesty. I helped you with the twig plague and you repay me by stealing my moon pearl. My teacher will turn me into a frog if I do not give her the pearl in three days."
He shook the twig in his hand. "Remember this?" He then broke the twig in two and attached it to the queens head. "Have fun getting rid of them this time."
With that he summoned a cloud chariot and rode away with the Boggarts, the Brownies and the treasures.127Please respect copyright.PENANAFzVA8gtUF6
